The campfire was cool,I can't wait to go with Riley too.i'm sure she'll be able to stick it out n stay for the movie.I'm also hoping we get better pics with Chip and Dale.

We all love Duffy here, next mission is to meet him in his Halloween clothes.

Holy, what amazing luck on the Vinylmation!! So happy she got the one she wanted. That's a happy camper right there. I have a signed picture from Darth Vadar (the real one) from when I was a kid. I'll have to see if I can find it.
I forgot to mention last time too about how awesome it is that she's wearing not one but TWO buttons!!!!

Awwwww I am SO GLAD you got a picture with Christmas Duffy! He looks so much bigger than I remember.

I have to add that the gingerbread cupcake tastes infinitely better when it's FREE!

okay so we left off at the Contemporary because we had some time to kill before our dinner date.Well do you remember earlier in the trip when ry spotted the Soldiers and had to copy their pose? we saw them here too ,but just before that we had seen a mural with little indians n stuff and there was a rabbit that I thought was a baby n we were still laughing about it so then this happened......



after our gigglefest we looked in some shops and I bought a mickey quilt for myself ,because hubby snores so bad that i end up on the couch or in bed with one of the girls so I needed a blanket that i could use instead of stealing it away because i have a tendency to be a burrito in my sleep n i get in trouble lol oops!

there's a reason I'm telling you this but more on that later it was time to catch the monorail



we got off at The TTc



tonight we were walking to our destination,yeah we could've just stayed on the monorail but we hadn't tried this before so why not





k so along the way a squirrel went zipping past my feet which might not seem like a big deal to most but I have this rediculous fear of Squirrels like seriously I'm deathly terrified of them,I have a friend back home that likes to torment me because of this( you may have seen on facebook) anyways I seriously will cross the street if I see a squirrel,those things are vicious and so not my friend! well we saw one on our walk n I screamed because it ran across my foot EW that was disgusting!! AND to top things off I was not in a place where I could cross the street I jumped n screamed so loud n hid behind riley n this couple walking by laughed n said" it's just a little squirrel" well listen when i was in grade 9 I missed a semi formal dance because when we went hiking the morning of my date to be got attacked by one n it took a big chunk of his ear! So noway was I gonna be okay with this. I could feel my heart pumping like crazy as we kept walking closer to our destination.Ry didn't laugh cause she knows it's a real fear of mine and I was seriously shaken.yeah I know I hate squirrels but my fave characters are chipmunks well there is a big difference okay . Anyways we made it even after that terrifying encounter



I couldn't be more relieved that i still had both my ears!

we didn't have too long of a wait before our dates showed up



I was really excited for hubby n ry to try dinner at Kona because me n H loved it,but sadly hubby was not impressed at all ( he has no idea what good food is,the guy would love off just pasta) LOL ohwell more for me!



I had a text from my mom asking what we were up to ,she did this a few other times too so she could see how things were going and I told her about my quilt which lead to her sending me back to go buy 2 more one for each of the girls beds but this would happen after dinner.
So we had a good dinner but neither of the girls wanted to come with me they wanted to swim so hubby said if I wanted I could stay out for a while he'd take them swimming and then go watch a movie in the room after so I set off on my second solo adventure



and I did it without any squirrel encounters
with quilts in tow( so 2 big bags lol) I went to Epcot!



I walked around n just took in the atmosphere ,I also went to meet Pooh n Tigger but I am not happy with how I looked so I won't post the pics, I just wanted to be there n breathe it all in one last time before departure,I didn't ride anything I just walked around and did my own thing people watching looking listening,then I got a text from hubby and I decided to head back,it was pretty late and had been quite a while since our dinner so I text him to see if he was hungry ( he had only had a small amount of sushi )n he was so I stopped and got pizza to bring back to the room





the girls ate more too and I had a piece aswell ,it was better than I remembered it being and after that I had a nice hot bath n went to bed.

The next day was leaving day WAHHHHHHH but first I went to do laundry so we would have our track pants,jeans and sweaters clean that wore on the way because we had lots of snow to go back to. I took a few pics of the kids play area too







while I was in doing the laundry I bought some chips from the vending machine because there was a flavor we don't have at home



plus I figured we could eat them at some point during our journey home.when I got back to the room H was relaxing



we packed everything up n headed out,and while i would normally be really sad I was kind of excited at the same time because Hubby never wants to road trip and I miss that the most from my childhood so it was good to finally get to do that n Riley n I didn't have the experience yet of the drive from Florida

I thought the bus stops were kinda neat here



I made sure hubby went down Internatinal drive ( trust me theres a motive here)







Hailey watches these kids that make videos on youtube n we always see them going to Sonic,plus theres a ton of sonic commercials on tv but we have never tried it since we don't them at home,so before the trip we did our research n found one to try











okay so the verdict is NASTY UGH!!!! It was gross none of us liked it all,I'm not sure if it was just this location if they all taste the same I have no idea but it was disgusting and I'll never go back to that one HUGE letdown,also by this point we all needed a potty break n With one look of the bathroom there,I knew we would be waiting,it was the dirtiest bathroom i'd ever seen n I was not going in after opening the door.

so we got in the van n kept on

Orlando premium outlets!!! Oh look Riley a soldier!!!

then the girls played a bit before getting back in the van



here's what I bought at the outlet

and my first 9" vinyl he was regular 45$ marked down to 12.99 so I couldn't resist



we drove until around 6:30 at night when I saw a sign off the highway for a chick fil a and told hubby that it's my fave!!! WE had to stop he needed to try it!!! so we did yay me n my chicken were re-united,if we had one of these back home i'd be 500 pounds!



i even placed a second order to go for later in the car ride lol

we stopped in Charlottetown NC to get a hotel n hubby went inside but while he was in there I saw a drunk guy n a girl fighting outside n the guy went n hid somewhere n some other person was running around drunk with huge bottles it just was not the place i wanted to be in the middle of the night with kids so i waited for hubby to look at the van n when he did I shook my head no n waved him outside,so he came out n I said no we weren't staying there and this was me after that experience



I wanted out n quick it didn't feel safe so we found a different hotel a little further



much better!

and we started the trek home

somewhere along the way Hailey started to get sick n she had bad ear aches so we stopped to get her some medicine I had no idea how bad it really was at the time( when we got home she ended up having a few seizures n going to the hospital)

Now heres a sight you don't see everyday





okay so now that u know about me n squirrels there is one other major fear of mine and that is tunnels and we were about go through one yeah if you've seen the movie Daylight you'll understand so i hid myse;lf n snapped a pic so that i could look at it after the fact



omg will it ever end?

UGH n then another tunnel!!!!!



this with the combination of how sick i was getting from all the up n down of mountains n valleys to windy roads made me decide that my body HATES West Virginia!!! I felt so nauseus the whole way through there and home because of that

and this is me going through the tunnel



Eventually i fell asleep somewhere after Pennsyvania and then I woke up when we were somewhere in Buffalo and I woke up to "OH NO OH NO OH GOD " and some curse words when I opened my eyes we were sliding out of control in the middle of a Blizzard and ended up hitting a Large snow bank before hitting a guard rail,if not for those we would've went right over the egde of the overpass,I think the snow was what saved us because hitting that first slowed us just enough,luckily no one was hurt I just had a bit of a head ache,we were quite shaken though. We made it to my moms to pick up our dog only we didn't take the dog because H was having seizures n ear aches n fever n we ended up taking her to the hospital n getting our dog the next day.She got some meds n was sick for about 2 weeks n then everything was back to normal.

sonic was a huge disappointment the outlet was awesome! next time i need to hit the outlet earlier in the trip though so i have more $ to spend. I HAVE to get ry a 9" vinyl next because she wanted mine n that's not happening lol i'm mean eh?
I know i thought the same but thats because in Winter I hibernate n don't wanna do anything ,but the minute the weather gets nice I get all this motivation to do everything i can think of.

Sorry you didn't like Sonic...we love to go for 1/2 price drinks at happy hour. I love the Ocean Water (Sprite with Coconut flavoring, yum). But yeah, we do NOT go for the burgers. They don't have good burgers.

Kona, solo jaunt around Epcot, midnight snack of pizza with the loved ones... perfect ending to the trip!

Ugh - your drive home does not sound fun at all. Poor Haley. It must be terrible to be that sick on a long ride home. Did she get seizures from having a high fever? I hope she recovered quickly. Poor thing.

Hmmm - I see you are NOT a fan of tunnels. I'm pretty sure I know what road you were on through VA and WVA and I remembering traveling on it to visit Virginia Tech. Yup - I was a bit car sick myself on the way home.

I am very glad no one was hurt in your minor accident. Scary stuff.

I love Disney's Character Warehouse! I like to go at least once a trip, but sometimes I don't find anything, so it's nice to get there twice!

Oh my gosh a crash on the way home! Not good! And I am sad that poor H got sick but glad that she got better.

Love the quilt! How big is it? Is it more 'throw' size or full blanket size? I have at least 3/4 different 'throws', but I love them! It would be nice to find an actual quilt for my bed though.
