If you have four people booked in the room - then it will surely have the pull down berth. Rooms have a Queen size bed that can be split into two twin beds if requested. They also have a sofa that converts to a twin size bed. The back of the sofa actually folds down to reveal a twin size mattress. For rooms that sleep four people -- a pull down berth comes out of the ceiling over the sofa. This procedure is taken care of by your room stuard each evening and morning. Barb and Tony have pictures of these beds on their website at www.castawayclub.com - PLUS on my website (linked below) I have pics of the secret porthole rooms that show the location of the bed and the sofa and also some pics of the queen size bed split in to two twins.
If there are four people booked in the room -- as you have said there are -- then you will have the pull down berth. You could either request a port a crib for your toddler -- or have the toddler sleep on the sofa bed and just push the coffee table up against it. This would leave the third person on the bunk. If you prefer not to utilize the bunk, then I would as your TA to place a port a crib request on your ressie. I also remember seeing on these boards awhile back where someone requested a bed rail be put on the sofa bed for a toddler -- so I guess that could possibly be an option also. I would call DCL to confirm that rails are available for the sofa bed first though.
My child will be sleeping with us. He hates the crib. We spent over $1000 on the one at home and he never sleeps in it. I guess you can say we spoiled him! Is the sofa bed close to the floor?
