Hi all! We're taking a very spontaneous trip (dh business) to WDW. I'd like to get tickets for the 5/21 Party if that's even possible?

How far in advance do they sell out? Is it possible to get tickets while down there or do you have to order them online somewhere in advance?

I hear there is an AP discount... do I actually need the AP in hand when I order the party tickets? I was planning on upgrading to an AP when I arrive...

Also, I suppose I should ask the most important question... where is the best place to order these tickets?

Hi- I just decided to do P&PP on 5/9. I was told that there has never been a party that has sold out, that I could buy tickets when I get to the resort and still get the advance purchase discount. I don't know about the AP, but I would bet you'd have to have it in hand.

We're going on 5/21 and our friends ordered them over the phone. She'll need to present her AP in order to pick them up but I'm pretty sure she didn't need them to order them. We bought them several months ago but I'm pretty sure they aren't sold out.

We bought ours that night at the gate. We loved it and definitely will do it again if they offer it when we go down next time.

Just so you know, I tried to buy my ticket the day before using my AP at the Epcot guest relations. The cast member told me that there was no discounts, and then got a manager, and he said that they can't do discounts at the parks, that they needed to be ordered online.

I wound up calling DVC, and ordering the ticket with a DVC discount. I was required to show my card to get them.

I don't know if I just hit a fluke, but I figured I'd mention it.
