My youngest DD is 5 feet tall. She is also disabled and could not really hold herself up with her feet, although she has good upper body strength. We figured the ride was nothing after watching it for a while (after all, she does the teacups without much trouble, what's a little spinning?eeyoreiscool said:We had alot of room under the bar once and we were sliding back and forth quite a bit. I am sure that if someone was small enough, they could get under it without really trying. It might also hit them in the head/face and cause some injuries.
She did end up almost under the bar. Her sister, who is 5 foot 6 said it really both of them around and she could see that someone whose legs are not long enough (or strong enough) to brace themselves with their legs would get thrown around even more.
It's LOTS rougher than it looks.
