Have you gone in under your CC number and clicked on future cruises?
yes, one stateroom is there, the other is probably under DH's CC number. It's not on the summary page, but when I click the ressie number I can see the update.

Your current/changed reservation will show on DCL's as soon as it's changed.

New bookings may not appear on DCL's website yet as we are having an issue with the Castaway Club number 'sticking' on some reservations made online. We are opting to complete the booking process, get quotes out and then go back and add the CC number later. This will ensure all pricing is done as quickly as possible.

So, just because you don't see your booking on Disney Cruise Line's website under your CC number that doesn't mean it hasn't been booked - it could be that we couldn't get the CC number to stay on the booking.

I'm sure you will get a quote from your agent later this afternoon.

Thanks for your patience.
John

Ha. I've possibly changed my mind already about our Alaska cruise. Currently, we have 2A2K in a 5C. Just for grins, I priced 1A1K in a 5C/11B combo and it was about $200 less than the 4 of us in a 5C. Who would have thought? So, I'm on hold now to see if I can find a 5C and 11B across the hall from each other and make that change. The 800# was busy, so I called the 888# and have about a 30 minute wait.

Excellent - I was able to get the rooms that I wanted. We're now in 5128 & 5129. Believe it or not, the price was $261 less than the 4 of us in a 5C. Details now are:

Alaska, no ins, no tsf
6/21 5C 1A1K 12 4869.26, 2339, 191.26 t/f
6/21 11B 1A1K 10 2669.26, 1239, 191.26 t/f

Thanks John, I found them!!!! The main page from my cruises is updated!!!!! THANKS TAMMY from DU!!!!!

Both my ressies (PC and Mexico) are showing now on my Castaway log-in on the Disney Website. It appears I got the categories I wanted. SPH room Mexico and 11A PC.....now just waiting to hear from DU on prices...holding my breath...

On the Podcast last week they announced that we may not see our DU reservations until tonight. All agents began working this morning and are completing everyone's reservations up front and then late this afternoon they will start sending out the quotes.

I just received my reservation from Kelsie at DU:

Are you planning on the kids sleeping in their own cabin?

Oy.

I had the opportunity to book about an hour ago and I've been wishy-washy. Had to call Castaway Club support, got caught up in that...

Made up my mind, went back, and it was almost $1k more.
To do it or not to do it... I can't decide!

July 19, 2011

I booked online this morning to secure the rooms I wanted, then switched it over to DVC points this afternoon. I had this morning's reservation on hold, and was able to transfer it to points without a problem.

cat 5C 2A 369 points pp
cat 11B 2A 203 points pp

I booked the Alaskan Cruise
Aug 2
10A 3A 1K 17 $6500 with t & i rm5520
I told my Dh that I would not go to Alaska until Disney did a cruise. Now off we go!

Finally got the payment details from Dreams

I booked 8/23/11 in a 5c (1ad/1k) 3749.26 (1779 pp) + taxes this was a transfer from an OBB, we qualified for the 50% deposit.

also booked an 11b (1ad/1k) 2249.26 (1029 pp) + taxes. Owed full deposit of 600 pp as this was a new booking.

I'm so so stressed. Although I had requested early, early for a quote from DU, there was some misunderstanding and I got a booking for a cat 4B for $12,019 for my family of 5. I had wanted either a 4 OR a 9 and 10 across whichever was cheaper.

Anyway, now that I know the prices, a 9/10 is significantly cheaper, but now I don't have a booking! All the early dinners are gone and I'm now at the bottom of the booking as opposed to the top as my TA now needs to work on her other clients who are ahead of me. (although I feel I should be moved up as my quote was quite clear in my request...)

I don't have any time at work myself, so I feel so disappointed and I feel so let down.

Sigh. I thought I had been clear...with the baltic it WAS cheaper for all of us to be in a 4, but not with Alaska. This happens because for some unexpicable reason DCL refused to release prices ahead of time. Also, once all the 21st booking were posted, my TA was away until the 27th!

I'm sitting here at work just stressing and waiting for an email back with my new quote, but who knows when that will happen.

i was so happy today, now I just want to weep! I guess I just need some dis sympathy.

As soon as I hear back from my TA, I'll post my new quote.

Sigh.
