PRICES UP !!! °o° °o° 9/28/09 Booking Information Thread for 2011 Cruises °o° °o°

she just emailed me back & said they weren't available & i'm like but they HAVE been - I've been watching them ALL MORNING!! DOH!! so i asked if i should complete this as a 3 day hold or what. hopefully she'll get right back to me again.:headache:

I am SO bummed..... was lucky enough to get on the phone at a few seconds after 8 am... was doing great, but then got disconnected at 8:18 just as it sounded like they were putting me though.

Cannot get back in and the waits are over 1 1/2 hours and have been trying ever since I got cut off at 8:18.

All I need to do is transfer an existing cruise...BUT for some crazy reason my log in information keeps coming back as invalid...and I know I put it in correctly, so I have no choice except to get it changed by phone.
This should be so easy...but the crazy system is not letting me in.

I have even booked a "new" reservation in case it books before I get them on the phone to change my existing one. Don't know if they would honor my old discount or $200 OBC though.

I was able to transfer an onboard "dummy" booking online today.

WB Transatlantic
Cat #7AGTY (They would not let me choose a stateroom)
2 adults 0 kids
No Insurance/Only Florida transfers/No air
OB $4113.82 (it went up about $60 while I tried to choose a stateroom)
Time booked 10:30 online

5024,5022,5020,5524,5522,5520

Thank you so much! I just re-booked my Eastern cruise online (to a Mediterranean 2011), and managed to save money by booking 5020 - I am so happy!!!!!! :cool1:

I also got to keep my half-price deposit!

I have tried for last 30 minutes to book online with no success. After I select date and category, nothing happens when I click 'continue', it's just stuck. Ayone has same problem?

I also got the half off deposit from the onboard reservation (althought the deposit amount went from $200 to $600 on WB trans)

Thank you to whoever posted about transfering reservations made onboard to a new reservation online. It saved me hours of trouble not haveing to call in to DCL.

IF YOU HAVE A 50% DEPOSIT ON YOUR CURRENT OBB YOU KEEP THAT OFFER FOR 2011 CRUISES!!!!!

Huh????!!!!

My online ressie shows I owe $1,200 more in deposit even though I transferred my 50% off OBB 2010 7 day to an Alaskan 7 day. I modified this online myself.

What am I missing?

Did this happen only if you went through a TA or actually got through on the phone?

Please advise what I can do. Thank you! :flower3:

I tx an OB reservation myself this AM. It shows that I owe $700 for the deposit and have already paid $500 for a total of $1200 (4 x $300) actual full deposit is $600 pp ($2400).

Not sure why yours would be any different.

So I just checked my Castaway Club account and I still don't see that my cruise has been booked by DU. Booking has have been open for at least 3 hours now -- is it normal that it still isn't done, or should I be concerned?

branv - right there with you - no cruise listed - but DU assures me they will get the quotes emailed out as soon as possible its just a lag time thing as they are booking so many cruises right now.

I know, still makes it really really hard to be patient huh? :lmao:

Feeling like the PC I have been waiting - what 2 years to book - isn't going to happen. Unless I was to be on Deck 2.

ADVICE - would you book a cruise now even if its more expensive than you want to pay and see what becomes available later?? Hoping to save some money?

No, I guess that doesn't make any sense!

HI ANNIE!!! hope your ressie gets fixed!

I went online this morning through Casaway Club at 9:00am and was able to change my "dummy cruise" booked onboard to the June 7, 2011 Alaska Cruise.....Yeah!! We'll be celebrating our 30th Anniversary (actually June 6)

Booked a GTY 9B, 3 adults (Adults 1 & 2 $1,527.00 ea, Adult 3 $1,158.00), Vacation Insurance $277.00, Taxes & Fees $286.89 for a total of $4,775.89

Honestly, I was pretty impressed by the prices on the La to Vancouver cruise. It looks to be about the same as the Bahamian crusies which are totally doable for us. :yay:

My hubby has talked me into Alaska. He said that with me being a travel writer, this would be a great opportunity for me. We probably won't go on Disney for Alaska though, probably on RCI. Our 5th wedding anniversary will be coming up at that time, so the plan looks like this: Vegas/DL (F&W festival)/La-Vancouver DCL/Alaska on RCI.

I too changed my OB ressie online going through Castaway Club and kept 50% deposit. I had to pay $525.00 more so along with the $375.00 I already paid the deposit was $900.00 (3 x $300.00) which is 50% of the $1800.00 deposit required. I had no trouble doing this. Hope you are able to get it straightened out!!:flower3:

Okay, I got confirmation from our TA.

7/9/11 Med Cruise

1A1C C09A $6047.32, no ins/trans - this was a transfer from our OBB so the price includes the 10% discount. I had a $250 deposit, and the TA confirmed I will have to pay the extra $350 by 10/2.

We sailed the EBPC with you guys. We're booked on this med too. I think some other EBPCers will be coming along too !!!

Hi Gert!!!:wave2: TA emailed me back that she would go back & look again for the 10 nighter...said to give DCL a few min. to update....but now I'm getting some weird message there. RIGHT BEFORE the error msg. I saw my date was on the 10 nighter but I could not see a cabin number anywhere! DOH!
I SOOO hope you get your PC!!

Just checked the Castaway Club account and DU has us booked in 4A for 3A and 1K for July 5, 2011 Alaska cruise. It doesn't give the cost though. I will have t wait for DU's email to see the damages.

Cannot get back in and the waits are over 1 1/2 hours and have been trying ever since I got cut off at 8:18.

Try this # . . . 888-272-0232. You'll need a Castaway Club #. Good luck!

Thank you for the information that the on-line rebooking option was now working. I was on hold for 1 1/4 hours, tried transferring my reservation on-line and I was able to get what I wanted within 10 minutes. :thumbsup2
