Okay, I got confirmation from our TA.

7/9/11 Med Cruise

1A1C C09A $6047.32, no ins/trans - this was a transfer from our OBB so the price includes the 10% discount. I had a $250 deposit, and the TA confirmed I will have to pay the extra $350 by 10/2.

Who me? I already did...got a canned response back saying she's busy today booking DCL's and that she'll get back to me!! I don't know this DU agent...she's covering for my real agent who's out on medical leave...

Got online and called in on CC phone number promptly at 8:00; started booking 2 cabins online at 8:00; took 44 minutes; as second cabin was finalizing, got connected via phone. Confirmed all online information with DCL representative.

YEAH!!! Just checked my future cruises again, I clicked into the ressie, as on the first page it wasn't updated and I"m booked 6610 and most likely also 6611 on 8/23/11 ALASKA!!! I'll have to wait on pricing, as it doesn't show. YIPPEE!!!!!!

We're going with you!!! I just checked our future cruises again and it's there. 8/23/11, in a midship Category T. Our DU travel agent is a miracle worker, and we are over the top ecstatic. No clue how much it costs, but we'll find a way to make it work! I haven't read the whole thread so sorry if this is redundant ... I logged on this morning to see how crazy the booking was and read that OB ressies could be transferred online now! I just transferred our booking in about 10 minutes. Couldn't have been easier! THANK YOU DCL for finally getting that right, and THANK YOU DIS for letting us all know

My online ressie shows I owe $1,200 more in deposit even though I transferred my 50% off OBB 2010 7 day to an Alaskan 7 day. I modified this online myself.

What am I missing?

Did this happen only if you went through a TA or actually got through on the phone?

Please advise what I can do. Thank you!

OMG. I have SUCH indigestion!! OK so I'm to the pymt screen...do I just do the "hold this reservation for 3 days" thing or do I actually BOOK it? Does it matter?

I was able to get online at 7:00 a.m. CST this morning and book two rooms for the July 26, 2010 Alaska cruise. Here is what we booked:

Cat. 11B, 2 Adults, 2 Kids (16 and 13)
Transfers included, No insurance
$5334.52

Cat. 11 1 Adult
Transfers included, No insurance
$2141.13

I was totally shocked at the amount of deposit that is required. We put the rooms on hold and have until Oct. 1st to pay our deposit, but I'm pretty sure we are going.
