I've used Priceline in the past (for non-Orlando trips) with great luck. DH and I now have 2 DDs traveling with us. If we are all in one hotel room, there is no way we will be able to get DD#1 (2 years old) to go to sleep while we are still up - which either means she stays up late or we go to bed early! So, we would want to get two connecting rooms, so that we could put her to bed, and yet we could stay up. First of all, what are the chances that I would not be able to get connecting rooms if I get rooms on Priceline? I've heard that some hotels will always give you connecting rooms if there are only two adults in the party - is this true? Also, should I be concerned about any safety issues if we put DD in bed in the next room, and close the door between the rooms until she falls asleep? I would open it up again later, and we could bring our baby monitor, so I'd think it's okay. But, at the same time it feels odd to think of leaving her alone in a hotel room!
Hopefully we'll be getting accomodations through a friend's timeshare exchange, in which case this is all a moot point, but I'm trying to come up with a backup plan.
