The lack of panic, I think, should also be credited towards the guests and their willingness to follow the CMs. I worked at BB one season and we had to pull everyone out of the water due to lightning in the area. During that time, we got word that one of our fellow CMs was struck by lightning. We were still 'onstage' and continued to do our jobs. A rather irate guest started to make a loud complaint to me about them missing out on their vacation, etc. I calmly asked him to stay put, but he refused and he and his young kids (having no idea that across the park one of our own was down) refused and walked past the metal lockers to their car. Thank God they were fine, but I remember being so afraid! Anyway, all that to say I'm glad the other guests were calm and listened the the CMs. That could have been a scarier situation (and I know the CMs were probably very nervous/worried/scared but being onstage, had to stay in the show).
