I ate at WCC on Sunday night and 3 of us had the skillet and we really liked it. Pulled pork and ribs were my fav, DD liked the chicken best and DH liked it all. I was surprised how good and fresh the corn on the cob was and the corn bread was to die for. I opted for extra corn bread and no mashed potatoes! Also thought the salad was tasty and only I ate any baked beans but they were good too. :teeth:

These are from last September at the Yachtsman Steakhouse. Sorry it took so long....I just learned how to post them. This was one of my favorite dinners.....everything was great! Good thing we were on the free dining plan as this was a very expensive dinner!

I would like to know about much the surf and turf was. You have made me so hungry for Lobster just looking at your picture. I will be going in November and I think I want to have dinner at the Yachtman Steakhouse.

I keep trying to tell my UK friends about smores. I saw a picture of them from one restaurant. Are they available anywhere else?

The Yachtsman Steakhouse is my all time favorite. But I don't think I could ever afford dine there without some sort of package. The two times we ate there, we used our magical wishes. The tab for DW and I was $150 each time. And we both had the surf and turf.

Well, I know that we've had the Smores dessert at 50s Prime Time, which I think are the best based on the photos I've seen here, but you are right...they are available at other locations. I want to say that Le Cellier has a version, but that is the only one that comes to mind. I bet if you do a search on this thread you will find many of the locations that offer Smores.

Sorry that I couldn't help much more than this.

Ladybugsy,
TJ made us the oreos too (and I thought we were the only ones!) :wave2:
We struck up a conversation after he learned we were from Ohio, a short drive from where his girlfriend lives.

They were good, weren't they?!

Heavenly!!!! The bad thing is there were 7 of us and 9 oreos....a fight broke out...

You know, they can't be that hard to make...just batter and fry em. I've also heard of deep fried mini snickers bars, but I'm afraid to try them...I'm already overweight...lol.

The Minnesota state fair is famous for it 'fried and on a stick' food options. Probably the most famous are it deep fried Twinkies, deep fried candy bars, and deep fried Oreos.

They are all so yummy. Mmmmm

What's deep fried and not delicious lol

The same with our state fair. Everywhere you looked there was something deep fried. My husband tried the snickers. The one that made me laugh was a deep fried cheeseburger, which we liked to call "heart attack on a stick". YIKES!!!!!!
