Finally getting around to posting the Deep Fried Oreos from Boma...Compliments of TJ...one of Boma's amazing Chef's. Sorry it's so big. And please excuse ds's hand...he couldn't contain himself...and neither could we after I took the picture...lol.

So they have these at the buffet, or did you have to order them ahead of time? They look SO good!

Well, I think it's really up to him when and if he does anything special. I went in to Boma asking if I could see TJ. They said, "Of Course!". He came out, and I said, "I feel like I know you, I've seen so many pictures of you on different sites, I had to get one for myself! He graciously took a picture with me and my daughter and we sat down. About halfway through dinner, he brought out a very tall spare rib platter...it was beautiful. I didn't get a picture of it. :furious: He was so sweet, He put it on the table and we all had a fit. He laughed and bowed alot...lol. Then, after dinner, he brough out the Oreos. So maybe ask for TJ and tell him he's famous on the Dis boards...maybe you'll get VIP treatment like we did. We were seriously so surprised...and all the tables around us kept looking at us like, "Who are THEY?" I wanted to say, "We're nobody!!..lol...which is what makes this so great! "

I would like to know about much the surf and turf was. You have made me so hungry for Lobster just looking at your picture. I will be going in November and I think I want to have dinner at the Yachtman Steakhouse.

You should definitely go...it was very good. I believe the surf and turf was $55.00. There were two of us and we both had this and shrimp cocktail and shared the dessert and had coffe....the bill came to $180.00. We were on the dining plan so it counted as 2TS credits.

Ladybugsy,
TJ made us the oreos too (and I thought we were the only ones!)

Us too--on our trip in October 2005!! Funny thing is, he didn't remember it, but he made them for us on our first visit to Boma back in 2003, too! And we thought it was because we were two hot young chicks--turns out we're just like everybody else--ho-hum! :rotfl:

OK, I posted mine earlier using ofoto, but many people could not see them so I am redoing it using shuterfly. It worked for me on another site so it should be okay here! I really want to contribute to this thread since we used it to make so many decisions!

Birthday Dinner at Boma, we didn't love this place as much as we thought we would. The chef was great though and came out and brought me a special treat, deep fried oreos!

Dinner at Alfredo's - The Fettuccini Alfredo was awesome, the chicken was really dry and not good, and the desserts were okay.

That's all! Hope it works this time!

There's a recipe for Deep Fried Oreo's on Good Morning America's Website under recipes!!! I googled it.

Thanks Donna I will make it a point since now I have added 2 more days to my trip. Price is not bad when here Lobster is 50.00 easy.

So, asking the chef is the secret to the fried oreos!? We asked the waitress on our last trip, and she basically told us "sorry, we don't offer those very often". Next time, we'll check with chef TJ!

Here are some pictures from Cinderellas Royal Table. We were there on the FREE Dining Plan last October...

You know what I'm missing most?

WDW Cheeseburger + Fries.

Seriously - no one does fast food like the US!
(although American sausages and bacon are not to my taste!)

I loved just about everything I ate on our recent trip, and still love looking at all these photos! :teeth:
Like you, I think the bacon is 'different', but I did eat it! I wonder what they do with that lovely round fleshy bit we have in our back bacon.

Great picts of CRT, we are celebrating our 18th wedding ann. at CRT May 7th. The food looks delicious.

Have a magical day,
Anna

I think that is what is called 'Canadian bacon' here.

I would love to see photos of room service. I have always wanted to order it but didn't know if it would be as good as the food in the restaurants. Thank you to all of you that have posted photos, this thread is so much fun! :surfweb:

I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to wait 5 more days!!! I'm not sure if I'll have enough memory to take pictures of food, I did when I was in Boston (to prove to SOME people that I tried calamari...not my favorite thing ever) and they didn't turn out as well as I'd hoped. So I'll try for a few come sunday, but nothing too fancy.

My favorite room service ever was the children's "pinecone waffles" at the Wilderness Lodge! Hopefully someone will post a pic of those! :thumbsup2 They're too cute!

By the way, overall I find the room service at WDW to be excellent!

I LOVE checking these photos out but I have a request. Can someone please post a photo of WCC nachos? or even give me a review? I know the skillet is "the thing" to get but could this be a meal? IS it lilke crazy big or just a few on a plate? I have searched in the photo gallery and they are not in it. let's hear some reviews.
