Hey Mef78 we will be there at the same time as you. If you happen to see us don't be afraid to say hi, we will be the ones with two kids........... :rotfl2:

Rob (Snowwhite's DH)

I'll keep an eye out for you, Rob!! If you see us, be sure to say hello as well--we'll be the ones wearing shoes!!

We don't have a meal plan. Staying offsite. Does anyone know how much the kitchen sink costs and where to get it? Thanks!

You get it at Beaches & Cream at the Beach Club Resort and I believe it is 21.99. We plan on getting it while we are there too....it looks awesome!

I wasn't thrilled with the skillet at WCC but the pasta was pretty good. DD had the steak and enjoyed it. Its a fun place not a fine dining place.

My son and I didn't enjoy the skillet either. However, our waiter Tiny was a hoot. :rotfl2:

I'm glad to hear the other items on the menu were better than the skillet. We had such a great time with the staff, I was thinking of returning just to order shakes and dessert.

I may just change to a lunch or breakfast PS. As long as we stay away from the skillet, we should be ok. :cheer2:

This is the CUTEST thing I have ever seen!! That penguin in adorable!! :goodvibes We were thinking about doing something like this in July when we go to WDW. We were going to take a small stuffed animal with us and have it in every picture. The ears on the penguin just make it all the more adordable! :goodvibes

Did you put on the ears, or is it some kind of Disney penguin? If you added the ears, where did you get them? I want a pair for our little traveling buddy! lol (which may be a tiny stitch. It's about the size of a small fist and has little magnetic paws, LOL) :stitch:

EEP! Forgot to mention that little detail ;)

It was the 'Chef Creation' Or something. Bought from that little kiosk right outside the Italy pavillion and the lady there called it "Glace Zuppa" Or something along those lines. Either way it was a heavenly concotion. The stuff up top was some sort of marscapone deliciousness and the bottom was cakelike and tasted of chocolate mousse.

Like I said, heavenly.

OMG-- that made my mouth water - literally

I loved that salad and haven't ever had as good anywhere else

Ha Ha....my dh and I were just saying that. In fact, he'll call me at work, just for fun, and ask if I'd like to go over to the Brown Derby for dinner and have a Cobb Salad. It's only a 750 + mile drive....... :rotfl:

Don't you think that is a little vague? How in the heck am I going to know who you are there will be at least 6 or 7 people there wearing shoes at the same time? At least we were alittle more specific telling you that we will be the ones with two kids..........wearing shoes and/or sandals and will be swimming in one of the pools. You can't get more specific than that!!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl:

I don't have time to search the entire thread but I remember seeing posts of food from Boardwalk resort for breakfast. Do they have a walk up fast food type of place at the Boardwalk resort? I am thinking of trying this resort next year but we always eat at the resort for breakfast and I was worried about that not being at this resort. Let me know. Thanks!

Hi Lesley,

We love to stay at the Boardwalk (we're DVC members). You can get quick breakfast items at the Boardwalk Bakery. Check out http://allearsnet.com/menu/menu_bb.htm for a sample menu. Have a great trip.

I have to tell you, while this is off topic, I love your signature.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the
intention of arriving safely in an attractive and
well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways,
body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and
screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

Have a magical day,
Anna

I first of all want to say thanks to all of those who posted those great pictures. If that doesn't make one's mouth water I don't know what will. My question is I read some comments about some people not liking the skillet at wcc, may I ask what they didn't like about it? We were thinking about going there, because of the pics of the skillet. Thanks.

I've had the same question, although, I already plan on eating there May 4th. My guess would be, while the food seems to be an average meal the atmosphere and hi jinks were enjoyable. The pics remind me of the Hoop-De-Doo review. Good food but not extraordinary.

Have a magical day,
Anna

I ate at WCC on Sunday night and 3 of us had the skillet and we really liked it. Pulled pork and ribs were my fav, DD liked the chicken best and DH liked it all. I was surprised how good and fresh the corn on the cob was and the corn bread was to die for. I opted for extra corn bread and no mashed potatoes! Also thought the salad was tasty and only I ate any baked beans but they were good too. :teeth:
