POR roll call for Sept. 2012

We've booked a Royal room Sept. 22 to Oct. 6th for our first trip to WDW I now have Dis, tripadvisor, unofficial guide 2012 and passporter happening on a daily basis. As you can tell I'm hardly excited!

To all of you above, I am super pumped about the free dining too!!!!

I just booked all of my Table-Service Meals today for our stay!!!

We are booked for Sept 9 - 15 with Free Dining AND in a Royal Guest Room!!

Originally we booked with a room only discount for standard view. Then got another pin code that got us the RGR for a little less for the discounted standard room. Then free dining came out and we were able to keep the RGR! We later had the option to downgrade back to a standard room, but decided the savings on Free Dining were significant enough, so we kept the RGR and not pocket the additional savings.

This trip is our first ever family vacation as a family of four. It will be to celebrate my kids' birthdays (both in September), and we are going the week of our 10th wedding anniversary! I'm so excited and can't wait!

I've been to Disney a few times growing up and a couple of times as an adult, but this is our first time staying at a resort. Past trips have always only been single day visits while staying with family nearby.

I also got all our first choice ADR's booked last week, including a night out with DH to the Spirit of Aloha Luau on the night of our actual anniversary while the kids go to The Neverland Club. We honeymooned in Tahiti, so this is our next best thing.

Oh, I'm so excited and can't wait!

You will absolutely love being on-site ... our first time we did WDW, we stayed in the Lake Buenva Vista area ... the second time at what was then Dixie Landings Resort ... no comparison! The atmosphere of staying at a Disney resort is so palatable ... and the fact that you have Free Dining makes it so much more enjoyable ... can't wait ... and Happy Anniversary!

Someone should make a clip art logo(or something) we can print out and tape to our guest room window to show were DISers.

After por, we embark on our first disney cruise to the bahamas!

Sept 25th thru Oct 5th with Free Dining Yay! We started out at POP but upgraded to a water view room @ POR to get regular dining plan. Absolutely cannot wait.

We're going 9/12-9/19 at POR and can't wait. It's myself, DH, DD, DSIL and DGD 3 1/2. Have made all our reservations, changed some, and then changed another! Think all is set! one question. Although I am not into the phone apps, my daughter is. What would you suggest we get for park updates, croud levels, and just the most info possible. If you apply now, are they still good in Sept. TIA

Last time we stayed at WDW was at what was then Dixie Landings Resort (now Port Orleans - Riverside) - not sure exactly when ... just went through some photos and saw we were in Alligator Bayou!

Looking forward to staying at the Royal Guest Room!

Some of our vacation is in August and some September.

POR Royal Room Garden View with FD for 10 nights. I wanted a standard but Garden was what I could get. Dates 8/24 to 9/3. Just made the switch from CBR this morning.
