POR question

Hi all!!

I am new to the boards here, so I first want to say "Nice to meet all of you."

We are going to WDW 9/13-9/20 (Only 99 days away ) and will be staying at Port Orleans Riverside.

I really want to get a corner room in building 14 of Alligator Bayou..Does anyone know of an easy way to get the particular type of room you want??

You can request it, but no promises. I would call and have CRO put it in the computer. You can also fax a request to the resort 3 days before your arrival, but there has been mention that some resorts accept faxes and some file them in the "circular" file. But, I think it's worth a shot!

We just returned from POR and a lot depends on if you're willing to wait for your room to be cleaned. When we arrived at 1:30pm, I had requested non-smoking building, upper floor in the Parterre Place mansion. We were asked at check-in if there was anything else we would like to add and I said a corner room would be nice. She replied that she'd have one ready in a few hours, but we declined because we'd already had our day planned and wanted our room right away. We did get all the requests I had listed on the reservation. We stayed in room 9795 Parterre Place... Hope you have a great time!!!
