I saw the Elmo on Good Morning America this morning. It was the cutest thing! I don't get to see The View very often because I'm in my office. I did go with my DIL and a few friends to a live broadcast of that show, way back in 2/03. We had a blast. They did one live broadcast and taped one show (the last one before the started redecorating the studio). It was a lot of fun. Barbara Walters is a very good friend of a very good friend, and he had sent a note for us to give her. She was so nice! I had no idea how really tiny and petite she is until I stood next to her, and I'm not a very tall person, although no one will ever call me "petite"!

A cute story....

My six-year old granddaughter is in the gifted program at her school. Our town has "magnet" schools, and the school she's in is the "Metropolis" magnet. This covers all levels of government and social interaction--not bad for first grade! Anyway, she told her teacher that her grandparents had the NERVE to go to WDW without her. So, the teacher suggested that, since this week's unit is on ways to get people moving from place to place, and keeping everything orderly, they should use WDW as their "example city". It helps, of course, that the teacher is a "Disney person". They are getting the addresses of each resort that we're staying at, as well as finding the parks and Downtown Disney, and will track our movements on Google maps or something similar. Each day, I will email the class and tell them where we're going, and they'll examine ways that we can get there. They already have maps and stuff, so they will figure out the best way. And when we come back, they want us to come to the class so that they can "help us prepare for our next trip" in March, when Shannan WILL be joining us!

Ang, have you seen Dirty Dancing 2? Havannah Nights?? it's really nothing like Dirty dancing, but it's a FABULOUS movie in its own right. I wish they would have labled it something different and people would not be tempted to compare the 2. ohhh and Patrick Swayze is in a teeeeeenie part of the movie

It's funny Michelle, I've always meant to watch it, but never have. Now, the original, I've seen like 100 times, and the ending... 100 times more than that! Just keep rewinding and watching the final dance over and over and over

Wow, finally caught up. I missed yesterday and just read thru about 10 pages! We are definitely a chatty bunch and will have NO problem hitting 200 pages before I leave.. which is in 4 more sleeps!!

My DH will also be checking out the Orlando branch of the company he works for here!!! he's friends with the head honcho and he asked DH to come in with the fam! so we will just be checking it out...but if it led to soemthing else............

i'm bummed about the stroller!! we LOVE it! but our house is stroller city! we don't need any more!! but that one is PERFECT!

i'm going to order stuff so that it is a surprise, i just have to sneak the CC (bank card)away from DH

We have a stroller corral here. I only have 1 in a stroller and she has 7 strollers. YIKES !!

DH says I have "issues". They include diaper bags and strollers ( Oh yes and purses and lugagge !!)

DMM you make me laugh But to be perfectly honest I did a little sleeve sniffing myself today while I was writing out all my index cards to put in my organizer and decorating them all with Disney stickers. We are so completely weird. But thank God for this board to allow us to share the foolishness!
