I'd write to Motorola. I bought a toy from Target once that didn't work, and I wrote the toy company instead of target because I didn't feel like driving 60 miles for a new toy. The toy company mailed me a replacement, and gave me return ship for the broken one.

Al right gang, i gonna start the letter first thiing tomorrow, as i am just home after a very busy 17 hour shift, i'm beat. It's always busy on the holidays. Only made it back to the fire house at midnight, after rolling out at 8 am on our first emergency run. It just did not stop today.

Btw, gas prices in nyc are off the hook.
This morning at 7am, memorial day regular was $4.29 a gallon and tonight, the same was $4.79 a gallon.

sadly I do miss my little blue crv....can't beat 21 mpg! I love the Hghlander....but for my little piddly driving around town I'm only getting 17 mpg....haven't taken it anywhere yet.....

ok, now for my mini update - Casey marched today in her first parade as a hs Pom Pon girl! It was cute, of course I took a million pictures. I still don't get why the 8th graders are practicing & doing so much with them...but she likes it....

I finished planning my summer trip - wanna hear it? of course you do...
We leave Crystal Lake on June 21st (sat) - Drive to HERSHEY!! (ok actually Harrisburg - I booked the plain ole Red Roof Inn) - We're hoping to get in town early enough to go to the choc factory on Saturday, & then Hershey Park all day Sunday - Timmy? or Rebecca can I send you a check to get my tickets from the Giant grocery store? I hear they are the cheapest.

Leave Hershey on Monday am bright & early...drive to Lake Placid NY - Rented a room in a lodge on the lake, stay Mon & tues night...

Wed the 25th - head to Burlington VT for the competition....then we leave there on Sunday the 29th.

Montreal - Jazz Fest on Sunday the 29th - leave drive about 2 hours, to Trenton Ontario - stay the night - up early onthe 30th...finish driving to Toronto - CN tower, lunch at the revolving rest. for Casey's bday. Then head to niagara on the lake...then to Niagara- stay in Niagara on Monday & Tues Leave early Wed...home wed night.

PHEW! Not sure I won't kill Mike - but at least I can drive my new car - which I love btw!

What's everyone else up to? I can't wait to start planning Disney again!

Sure can!!! And, you also get free parking with the Giant tix since you are going before June 30. When you say Chocolate Factory...do you mean Chocolate world? Its not an all day event. So you should have plenty of time for it. BUT, Hershey park has this day before thing...you buy the ticket and you can go in for a couple hours before closing the day before you plan on using this ticket. So since they are open until 10 that night, you can go in after 7:30 for a few hours and play before heading back to your hotel. Just don't surrender your ticket, let them know you are doing preview plan. Maybe we can meet up with you that Saturday at chocolate world!

Chris--I just looked over your plans again, so you are leaving home Saturday, and driving 11 hours and then going to chocolate world...are you sure you are sane? Of course if you leave at 5 am, I guess that means you'd get there at 4pm, so i guess you could check-in, hit chocolate world and ride a few rides before 10. Are you on of those people who take the 6am flight to WDW too?

I take the earliest flight possible - which this year is 8am. I would have taken a 6 had they had it.

hahahah yep I mean Saturday...but maybe I'm thinking of something else...isn't there like a chocolate factory tour thingy? like look at chocolate & buy stuff place? I wasn't thinkign amusement park type ........is chocolate world an amusement park? yikes maybe I need to look this stuff up! I was thinking the girls & I would leave crabby (i mean daddy) at the hotel to rest & relax & we'd head off to something......They'll be fine after driving 11 hours...they'll be asleep most of the way anyway! & yep we were planning on leaving at 4am - Mike drives - the 3 of us sleep

As for the tickets...I'll need 3 adult & 1 child (I'm assuming Miss 13 yr old is an adult there too!)...let me know how much they are & I'll get a check to you this week!

Chris - Sounds like a fun vacation but busy summer. Our summers are never quite that exciting! Lori is @ WDW NOW! I think today is her last full day. She has been posting live pics on her blog as well as a live TR on the DIS! The links are in her siganture line.

Rebecca - I LOVE those dreaded "M" drinks too. My friend got me hooked on them. But I rarely drink, so next time I will be scouring around for something new!

Cat - I totally forgot about your free passes from last year! That is SO awesome!!!! I think we are only doing MNSSHP once. Terry and Dan are going over to Universal for HHN! He is super excited about that. I am a huge wimp, so I will not be attending.

No chocolate world is what you were thinking...it has this ride, but not a thrill ride, where it gives you a tour of a chocolate factory, complete with singing cows. There is a thing where you can put kisses in a sprocket and then buy it (or not). You get a free paper hat out of it. Then there is lots of food to buy and chocolate. DH LOVES the fresh cookies. I LOVE the hot chocolate (with whipped cream and mini kisses). There's a 3D movie I've never seen. And that's about it. All free (except food and 3d movie).

I was JUST at Giant and forgot to check...I'll swing by tomorrow on the way back from the Y. There's a huge sign in the window.

Im relieved about the tickets. I really am. Had they not let me use them for tickets this year - it would have been okay - but it was a nice *bonus*. I called when the tickets went on sale this year and just asked. Like I told PJ - nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Man - looking for a hotel in Niagara is a pain in the tush! They are SO expensive! I think we're gonna end up at HoJo - it's the only place I can afford!

This vacation is gonna cost more than 3x my typical WDW trips....& I know when it's all said & done...I'm gonna say..."gee that was nice, but I shoulda went to Disney" - I say it EVERY time I try to venture out & see the rest of the world! hahahahah

Here is SOME of what I know (which ain't a whole lot)
There is another thread that was started last year for our Mojito Monkey Maddness Group. Apparently they have continued to talk and form relationships. Awesome right?
Well apparently, there was a time when I would pop in here and over there to say hi and then go back to my crazy life and not check back in for weeks. One person took that as me being rude. I think Cat was accused of the same thing. There was also some heat about Cat trying to take credit for the name of the group blah blah blah. It really is silly jr high stuff that I just had to blow off. Well Timmy is a part of that group and has since stopped chatting with us. I am really glad she has made some good friends! There is a wedding taking place and all kinds of meets and bachelorette parties that she is involved with this coming Sept.
But this other person kind of slammed Cat in a public thread for something she didn't even do and then started talking about a few of us.
Honestly I can't handle adults who choose to act like they are 10. I deal with it with my son and I refuse to get involved with that mess.
So anyway... I wish everyone the best! Life is grand and so on with the show!
