Okay, not going to Disney, but I'm going to DENVER!!! DH is going on business trip for 3 weeks there, and the thought of us being apart again kind of sucked, so we've been talking about spending the $1000 for DD and I to come out. WELL, I got the brilliant idea to check our miles, and they have flights!!! So we'll be going for the 1.5 weeks in the middle.

I was hoping one of you lived in Denver...but I don't think so. I'll be stuck in hotel-land during the week. Will have to figure out meals that require only a dorm fridge and a microwave. No car, and nothing but hotels and restaurants for miles. At least it has a pool. Daily schedule...wake, TV, breakfast, swim, lunch, nap, swim, DH home and dinner.

Hi gang,

Whats doing?? I just got in from work. Remind me, that i should never let any new guys cook, ever,ever again. He made some italian dish. It had no sauce or pasta in it, so i quickly challenged him calling iT italian. Not to worry,after the fouth forkfull of garlic i ate, i knew it must have been italian, or he was scared of vampires. It had, potatoes, greenbeans,garlic,red peppers, garlic, oil, onions,garlic and few other things, not to mention garlic. After we ate it, it was really good, we found out it had 6 full pieces of garlic in it.

I admit, it was really good. however i have the worst case of heart burn ever! So whats doing?? Whats everyone up too?? I'm beat, calling it a night.

Last night the internet stopped working. And my cell phone stopped working. And then I tried to call my mom to ask her to look up the service number for ATT and I discovered the landline phones didn't work either. It was CREEPY! I couldn't even call 9-1-1! I went to the neighbors to check with them because I was so freaked something was gonna catch fire and I wouldn't be able to call 911. They were in the same boat, no cell service, no landline service. Everything is fine this morning, and the neighbor's let their dog pee on our lawn.

Hey everyone!!!
I wanted to let everyone know that we got the house!!! Our offer was accepted and we will close on or before the 30th of June!!!! I am sad and excited.
Ryan's last day of school was on Thursday. He actually didn't want school to be over. I think he is just worried he won't make friends at his new school. I told him we were in the same boat because I don't have any friends up there either!!!

Rebecca- Lori lives in Denver. Well Aurora but that is a suburb of Denver. Where will you be?

Aurora is a WONDERFUL area. There is so much to do in Denver. Will you have a rental car?

I was just looking and there is a presale for AMEX card holders. I could have my mom buy them for me !! It looks like the pre-sale is on 6/5 - the day before my birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME ! I think Madonna goes on sale when I get back from vacation and I want those too !

I think AZ is Oct and Denver is in Nov! I don't care either, except the weather flying to and from Denver in November makes me nervous!

I keep forgetting to tell you...when I was in NYC I had my FIRST MOJITO!!! It was really good. It was like pomegranate or something. I also had my first martini. It was sour apple. I love both drinks!

I swear, i can't wait until ds hits legal age to gamble. He always wins like this. Today we went to coney island, its a meca of the amusment park business. It was the worlds first amusement park back in the very early 1900's. Today, its still very nice, but nothing can beat disney in my mind!!! Anyway ds was playing some lighthouse game and won, motorola 2 way walkie takies, the really nice ones too. Sadly one of the walkie talkies does not work, do you think if i write a letter to motorola, they would give us a new one??

I mean we did'nt pay for them, i have no proof of purchase since he won them. I called the amusement park, after we got home and got the run around and finnally found out the park does not own that machine, but rents it out. No one seems to know who owns it and i doubt if they would give ds a new walkie talkie set, after only putting a dollar into a machine and winning a $50 prize. Do you think i should write the letter to motorola and see what happens?? I mean someone paid for that item, even if ds only spent a dollar on it, someone bought it at full price, right?

I just feel bad, ds was so excitied to win it and could not wait to we got home.

I'd write to Motorola. I bought a toy from Target once that didn't work, and I wrote the toy company instead of target because I didn't feel like driving 60 miles for a new toy. The toy company mailed me a replacement, and gave me return ship for the broken one.

b4 I forget....PJ - I know many folks that work here at Motorola....yes you should write them!!!!!! I can almost assure you they will replace it...they are very kid/customer oriented! Let me know if you have any issues....as one of my friends is pretty high in the ladder.....

ok, now for my mini update - Casey marched today in her first parade as a hs Pom Pon girl! It was cute, of course I took a million pictures. I still don't get why the 8th graders are practicing & doing so much with them...but she likes it....

I finished planning my summer trip - wanna hear it? of course you do...
We leave Crystal Lake on June 21st (sat) - Drive to HERSHEY!! (ok actually Harrisburg - I booked the plain ole Red Roof Inn) - We're hoping to get in town early enough to go to the choc factory on Saturday, & then Hershey Park all day Sunday - Timmy? or Rebecca can I send you a check to get my tickets from the Giant grocery store? I hear they are the cheapest.

Leave Hershey on Monday am bright & early...drive to Lake Placid NY - Rented a room in a lodge on the lake, stay Mon & tues night...

Wed the 25th - head to Burlington VT for the competition....then we leave there on Sunday the 29th.

Montreal - Jazz Fest on Sunday the 29th - leave drive about 2 hours, to Trenton Ontario - stay the night - up early onthe 30th...finish driving to Toronto - CN tower, lunch at the revolving rest. for Casey's bday. Then head to niagara on the lake...then to Niagara- stay in Niagara on Monday & Tues Leave early Wed...home wed night.

PHEW! Not sure I won't kill Mike - but at least I can drive my new car - which I love btw!

What's everyone else up to? I can't wait to start planning Disney again!

I have 100 or so days until Disney. I have all my ADR's and all that....but I havent really PLANNED yet. Its weird. I need to get moving.

Man - I hate working. Anyone wanna lend me a few million? I dont wanna work anymore.
