Hey guys! Well, we've booked a week at Pop and we've come up with some more money and I was wondering if it would be worth it to change to POR or even change halfway through the week? Thanks!

We love the moderate resorts since the rooms are larger and the overall atmosphere is nicer......I would go moderate - we only do value when it is a quick unplanned trip.:woohoo:

We are trying to decide if we are going to do the same thing. We loved POP but thought about trying a moderate and it would be POR if we did. I am trying to decide if the extra cost is worth it since we don't spend much time at the resort.

That's exactly our problem. We don't spend very much time at the resort either so that's why I was wondering if it would be worth it to upgrade.

We had Pop ressie's first then changed to POFQ!! Just wasn't sure we would like a value as well as a moderate. I like the fact there are coffee pots, refrigerator, bigger rooms and nicer pools at the moderates.

Personally, having stayed at both I would keep your ressies at Pop. The room size difference isn't even noticeable and the food court is fantastic. Our kids are really young so a sit-down restaurant and slide holds no value for us. Save the extra $$ for more character meals or souveniers. JMHO. You'll have a great time regardless!!

I can see your point having the fridge and coffee pot but the rooms are not much bigger. The value resort pools are huge and nice they just don't have slides. I do think the moderates are quieter though.

Are you traveling w/ kids or adult only trip?

I think both resorts are so much fun... either way is going to be a good time!

I always thought why spend the extra money on the hotel when the time you spend is usually in the parks... BUT.. when you stay at another resort besides the value's you tend to spend time at the resort doing things that the resort has to offer... I love the boat rides at POR, the pools, the Fishing Pond, the lounge and most of all the carriage rides around the resort... Again, if money is an issue, keep what you have but if its not that much of a difference check out POR I dont think you will be disappointed! :wizard:

I am having the same problem except we are staying at POR and wanting to switch to POP or ASmovies. Because we did the bounceback from last September we are having a problem getting a room. We are going to keep trying to get something at one of these but will be happy if we end up at POR too.
