I arrive in 6 days! So excited!!

I am anxious to hear if KTTW are being issued on check in. I am just nervous about the MB not working for park entry or to open the door.

There's CM at the entrances to the parks. If your bands don't work they'll be able to help you. Thet helped my DD and DH when theirs didn't work. We never had a problem with them unlocking our doors.

We had FP+ set up for Epcot before the tiering and it was in effect if I wanted to make any changes. So I just let it be and kept my FP+ for both Test Track and Soarin'. So if you are worried about DHS doing some tiering, my recommendation would be to get your FP+ choices into MDE and let it be.

Have fun!!!

Great idea... hope they don't tier DHS in the next two weeks... we are 73 days out and can't make FP+ yet.

Checking in to Pop on Dec 7 & we haven't received our Mickey mail. Does it come with Magic Bands or separate? When should I call if we don't get it?

Mickey mail usually comes. 30 days out or so. No need to worry yet. Our magic bands came separate about 2 weeks out. If you don't have either 2 weeks out then I would cal.

They come separate. If you have a TA the mickey mail may have been mailed to him/her and then they will mail it to you, so it can take longer. If no TA then Disney should mail it straight to you just like the other person said. We used a TA and got our magic bands 2-3 weeks before our mickey mail.

We'll be overlapping our time at POP! (Nov 30-Dec 9) Our magic bands just came last Friday and the Mickey mail came the week before. I wouldn't sweat it yet!

Thanks for all the answers! Just got a chance to check here. I got an email today saying out MBs were being shipped. No TA so I'll just keep checking for Mickey Mail! Thanks for all replies.

Cool! I'm planning to decorate our window & will have my 'name' on the window. Maybe we'll cross paths. :)

I got my MBs Tuesday and my mickey mail today. I arrive Friday but just booked the trip on November 1st

Hi all, jumping in to say we love Pop! I just booked another trip, and I was thinking how funny it is that I didn't even consider another hotel. Pop is home for us now, and I can't wait to get back there!

You know, its funny. When I was planning, I told my dd16 that if I could eek out the extra cash, we might be able to switch to POR. She was really disappointed and said she wanted to stay at POP because of the Disney feel. We have stayed at all levels and even though I can still say BC is my favorite, POP and ASM would have to be close seconds! I love it there, you just know you're in Disney being there! :goodvibes

BTW, am I correct in assuming that you can walk from Pop over to AofA? My kids really want to roam the resort, see everything and take some pics. Thanks a bunch! :flower3:

Yes. Short walk over the bridge gets you to aoa.

I am looking to book for next October/November but as there are just two of us I VERY much would like to have a king bed rather than two doubles (having a nightstand on each side of the bed would be very nice).

It seems that all the king rooms are modified for disability access, would it be wrong of me to book one and potentially exclude someone who would NEED the room from using it?

I think the only use we would have for another double bed would be somewhere to store clothes as it looks like storage space is a bit sparse in the rooms.

Thanks so much for posting this. I am due to arrive this coming Sat. And I have not received my mickey mail yet. I was getting concerned, but we just booked on Nov. 2nd. So I hope it comes Tues. I think I will ask about it when I call to pay the trip off tomorrow.

Has anyone NOT received their Magical Express papers prior to flying out? I am not so worried about luggage as I can just retrieve my own, but will they let me on ME without paperwork?

Thanks! Can't wait to be there again!

Not every king room is an accessible room. The rooms that are accessible go to those who need them first. You can't book a king room, but you can request it. If one is available, you'll get it. If there isn't, then you won't. So put the request in guilt-free but don't count on getting one.

I just got back on Thursday and part of my party had a King room that was NOT a special accessible room. Just my 2 cents.

Anyone have any recent success with faxing in room request? I called and asked to have my requests noted but I always wonder if they ever note the reservations. Not sure if I should fax my requests too
