Christmas Special 2025 tv filming date?

Hey do you know when they will announce the date for the filming for the Christmas Special on ABC at Magic Kingdom? Trying to plan during that time!!!!!

The current rumor is it is Nov. 8 with a backup date of Nov. 9 but stay tuned as it is not confirmed.

WDW is always slow loading the Parade times for early November. Right now it stops on Nov. 1st as the last posted parade time of 2 PM.

Last night, at Epcot, they were filming one of the concerts for the Christmas special. It was fun to hear Christmas music, see the lights, etc.

Any info on how the recording will happen this weekend?

Never been there during recording, but I assume as with any type of recording session they will do multiple takes, need time for setups between songs, etc. You will likely stand around for quite a bit while the production company does their work. Some of the Disney specials also look they were done after night once the park closed since you couldn't see anyone else around. Clearly for things recorded during the day, park visitors will be around.

At MK today the filming will happen at 2pm for the Christmas parade. Only the first half section of main street where you enter and the large tree is and half way up Main Street is reserved for cast member seating in the main filming area. All the rest of the parade route is open to all guests to enjoy the parade too. You can see in the hub there’s big lights and expansion platforms that will be raised to get aerial shots later.

Parade is done, they had more floats vs last night, hope they keep them (Zootopia, Encanto, Ariel/Tiana)…

Now.. people are camping out near the castle.. any idea what could it be for?
