Once in a while, I see a VGC at a lower point cost. It's really good to own both. It's also totally bizarre that they have different seasons.

Yes sometimes cheaper, good to have a variety. But wanted to share since VDH gets so much hate for the TOT.

I think so. It "feels" more expensive when you have to pay taxes when we check out. It takes a significantly lower amount of points some of my favorite times to visit.

If buying VGC at today's rates. Yes VDH is cheaper. I did a spreadsheet on it.

I always put zero vehicles because im afraid they will charge, should I not be putting that When we get there we have no issue telling them we are parking the car, it just has a shows the price if you put a vehicle in online checkin so I thought maybe theyre confused and I should put zero

FYI and to give some insight to what @Girlstar30 posted. This historically has been to be my approach too. They seem to really be enforcing the parking fees and confirming that you have a car linked to your room during this last visit a few days ago. I had multiple attendants stop us and verify our name and room number and confirm we had a car linked to our DVC room during this last trip. It wasn't every time, but it was at least 50%.

I guess because I kind of like to poke the bear and would love a good reason to talk to them if they keep messing this up, I did add my car this time on the pre check in. Seemed like it was the right choice. And I just checked, it's not on the folio

By putting 0, do you get the printed dash parking card at the kiosk? If so, probably doesn’t matter but I know by putting the car total, they see it on arrival already in the system.

That was the smoothest split stay switch. Checked out VGC at 11am. At the VGC self park, did the online checkin for VDH. (I put the car tally each visit). Before got over to that self park, received room ready notification. Surprised since being a garden room, being so limited, could take longer. Grabbed our souvenir 70th room keys at the front desk & straight to room. “Celebrate Happy”!
