eeyore45, kids are pure magic especially when they are young enough to be unspoiled by adults and old enough to talk and convey their thoughts, IF anyone listens to them. I love the 'whys".
I think that most everyone who goes into teaching does it for the same reasons that most ministers and others who do good things for little pay do, it is a calling. However once they get there circumstances can ruin the whole thing. How frustrating to be a teacher and not be allowed to impart wisdom cause you are so busy filling out forms and doing other "busy" work and having everyone and their brother looking over your shoulder and telling you what you are doing wrong. I say let our teachers free and see what happens. It cannot be worse than it is now. The good teachers should have the power to have the bad ones ousted too. Parents, teachers and society as a whole have to work together to take care of our children and lead them in the right way and teach them to think not just to repeat. I had better get off this soap box before someone knocks me off.
Jackets? A covering for the aid? Expensive, uncomfortable? I would like to hear it all, at least for a bit. I would not tell my family I could for a bit though.
I am working at the local museum today. I get a lot of reading in when I do that as we have few visitors. I often do my Christmas cards when I work later in the year.
Hope all you girls and boys are having a wonderful Sunday and learn at least one new thing today. It is what keeps us young and interested and interesting!!
