Will you be joining our ToT and RnRc adventure?

I miss you guys too! I seriously try to get on the computer as much as possible, but it has been so hard this summer.

If I had faster internet I would go back & read about the ToT and RnRc adventure...not sure what's going on, but give me the time & place and I'll be there

I know, what the heck right...why would I ever want to spend all my time with my little cutie when there is soooo much going on over here on the Disboards...hehe Actually, I seriously feel lost when I can't get on the computer to see what is going on over here.

No sleeping in for the Winkler's!

No sleeping in for us this year either!!! Last time we were there we never got out of the hotel room until like 10-11am because we would sleep in. This year I already told my DH we are up & heading to the parks bright & early. Gotta get to the rides early

Hope everyone is doing great...I got our airline tickets yesterday. OMG...we are sooooo freakin close, I can't believe it. I think we all started this thread when we still had like 5 or 6 months until our tips. Time has flown by so fast

becky_AK, you are not fooling me. You come to the DIS to hear some adult conversation. "Goo Goo Ga Ga" even when coming from a much beloved mouth gets a bit too much if that is ALL you are hearing!! Been there,done that, a few times!!

BTW, I gave myself a fast connection for Christmas last year. $14.99 a month. I love it so much that I am giving myself the same thing this year AND a Wii. I always get what I want for holidays and such - since I stopped whining about no one remembering and buying it myself. Don't have to wrap it either!!

I saw Becky's post about Hunter almost walking...9 months....my DS is 14.5 months and not even close! Anyone else experience this? He just barely started pulling up...he can't walk yet even hanging on, he is just standing. I was hoping he would be walking for our trip, but now I am not so sure, and he will be 16 months...we will definietly have a stroller, but I did not anticipate having to carry him in line and other times...he is 28 lbs and 35 inches

A really good friend of mine has a son who is 16 months & isn't walking much yet either. Don't worry, they all have their own agenda and will walk when they feel ready.

I'm actually the complete opposite as you right now because I'm praying Hunter isn't walking when we get to WDW because I'm so freaked out about him taking off. I just want to be able to keep him in his stroller & take him out for rides...haha, if only it were that easy. He's turned into a spoiled little boy that constantly wants Mom or Dad to hold him. He's heavy too! He's 26 pounds & 32 inches, I think he is going to be big (My DH is 6'6" so it wouldn't surprise me)

For those of you with small children, what rides do you plan on letting them go on with you & which one's will you sit out. I know the obvious like ToT, Space Mtn, but not sure which one's will be okay for little ones. Any suggestions?

Becky, we are riding after our Fantasmic meet. We can let the guys ride after us while we stay with the babies! It is a PM EMH night, so lots of fun. Me and mine will probably head to Playhouse Disney after that, If the babies are still awake, maybe you can come with us?

Hi Becky! I know what you mean about not wanting Hunter to take off at the parks! I am still debating on a single or double for my boys- I know Heath is a little old for a stroller but at least I would know where he is every second!
I am going let Javen (my youngest) ride all the rides that he wants to go on and is tall enough for. He os 40 and a half inches right now so we;ll see where hes at in a month and a half, however if he doesnt want to ride---I am fine with that, NOT going to make him!

Glad to see you on here and I cant wait to meet you and your family at the glow party!!!!

Hi Becky! Isabelle, like Javen, can ride all of the rides she wants too and is tall enough for, with the exception of m:sp and ToT, although she DOES like thrill rides!! I have to hold her back somewhere. But we have Levi too, so we'll be doing the parent swap some. BTW, Levi wants Mom all the time too!

I have a double umbrella, side by side, that has a rain cover, sunshades, and reclines, so we are all set!!!

1st. - re: babies on rides -- I take my babies on any ride that does not have a height requirement. Peter Pan, Pirates, Jungle Cruise, KS safari, whatever.

My dd4 was 10 mo. when we went the first time and she LOVED it's a small world.

16th - arrive at Pop after 2 days of driving

17th - Epcot
Princess Storybook breakfast
Le Cellier Dinner

18th - Magic Kingdom
LTT - Dinner

19th - MGM
H&V lunch

20th - Animal Kingdom
bus to Contemporary - Chef Mickey's dinner
monorail ride to MK bus stop to Pop Cent.

21st - Magic Kingdom (little ones EMH - maybe?)
until late afternoon (avoiding MNSSHP)
monorails to Epcot for PM EMH

22nd - Sleep in
Chef Mickey's for brunch
DTD for shopping
back to Pop for swimming, laundry and Glow party

We are eating at the Sci Fi & Coral Reef on the same nights. What time are your reservations? Sci Fi we are at 7:10pm and Coral Reef we are at 7:30.

Youngsters, let me tell ya something. Those strollers are not for the kids, they are for the parents. You know where your kids are, you have something to lean on when you are about to fall over and they carry all your bags, drinks etc. I am tempted to rent one and I am not even bringing a child.

One other thing, do you really want to be carrying a child whose legs have given out halfway through the park? Especially when yours already have??

Just a thought from someone who has been there a few times.
