I hope that DH has fun...belive it or not we are both pretty shy people...and ofcourse alot of people pre judge us based on DH tattoos so we have are use to people "avoiding" us because they assume he was incarserated or somthing. Anyhow, Im looking forward to meeting everyone I just hope DH finds some friends too

No pre-judging here! When I showed Matt, Dane's pic, he said, likes like a motorcycle man! Motorcycles are his new thing!LOL! Anyway, I explained what I had read and he was like, "OK...Cool." I'm sure they'll be chatting it up in no time. Matt isn't too shy, so he'll probably be the one getting the guys to loosen up!

Hi, I haven't participated in this thread before but I noticed that you're having a Fantasmic meet on September 24 and my family plans to attend Fantasmic on September 24 so I was wondering if maybe someone could fill me in on the plan? I'm sorry I can read through all 91 pages of the thread but I'm something of a latecomer.

Please join us!! It is going to be so much fun!!!! So far, it looks like we'll be meeting at the theatre. Whoever gets there soonest will hold some seats if they can and wave around their LGMH. We'll chat and such before the show then watch together, then likely cram onto a bus together or stay for EMH. Many of us will know each other from the glow party, but if you can only make the Fantasmic meet, that's OK, don't be shy, come on over. The peeps who are meeting there that DON'T have a TS meal, may meet for dinner too, it was discussed.

In fact, is anyone who is going to be at the meet staying for EMH and interested in riding RnR or ToT with me? DH isn't a big thrill ride person and we'd have to parent swap anyway!

While it is true that out in the real world people are often judged by externals, stupid, at DW it is a bit different cause we all start with the assumption that we are all Disney lovers and as thus we are assured that we are good folks at heart, unless we are the teacup terrorist.

Why would anyone want to marry anyone who did not know us and accept us as such? I can say this NOW but I were nowhere as smart when I was younger. Could I please have a do over???

I wonder if the large amount of Disney lovers from Indiana has anything to do with the fact that we are the Crossroads and have many easy routes to the "Promised Land"? Why could they not just have a dedicated lane on each interstate for our through traffic? Just a thought.

Well, I am farrrrrrrrr from shy and most likely be the one grabbing you around the neck for a big hug Yes... I am a hugger . DH and I are as down to earth as they come.. we do not judge for fear of being judged

And just to set the record straight, I grew up in L.A in the 80's.. I had two tone hair.. usually spiked Everything was pierced including my nose (like a bull ) and I do have a tattoo. You wouldn't know it by looking at me now I was so cool then

I refuse to confess my youthful indescretions. No one who knows me now would believe them any old way. I have found that those old codgers who gossip the most are often the ones who did the most, and somehow managed to not get caught, when THEY were young. If you cannot be foolish, experimental and a bit risky when you are young when can you? I am hoping, in old age, as I am fast approaching and have a few things to catch up on.

HOWEVER, one of the things I am not interested in catching up on are thrill rides. The scariest thing I have ever done at DW is the good old days when I made the hot seat at Millionaire several times.

I will hold your bags for you. Odd I may be but I am honest. You can take care of the barf bags yourself. Been there, done that.

Hehe... my DH is a tattoo'd dude too... so they'll get along fine!!! They'll all sit around and talk about how disney nutz their wives are and we'll let em... cuz it's true

My hubby has a Marine Corp bulldog on his arm. Does this qualify him as a bad boy or do I need to give his credentials, before we were married.

About 39 days for us. Lots to do so it will go in a flash.

Keli, that is a cute smilie but after looking at it I had to lay down a bit as it made me extremely dizzy. I have just gotten to the point of where I can ride Peter Pan. I have to work up to these things.

That's the only ride I look for when ever I go to any amusement park. Anything that will take me upside down, up high in the air, or extremely fast, I'm on it. So for Disney, I love RnR, Tot, TT, MS. This will be my first time riding EE and I'm sooooo looking forward to it.

From what I gathered, it was posted as a possible refurb in a CM newsletter a while back, and, well, you know how rumors fly. Very reliable sources say that if it was going to be closed for refurb they would have already posted it for the public. They usually give PLENTY of warning for this sort of thing and being that we are under 2 mos. I think it would have been official by now....I hope!

I've been checking the refurb info on Disney website and I have yet to see it posted. The only thing I saw was Haunted Mansion which will open a few days before we arrive. So, I hope if anything it's just a rumor. I've been trying to convince my DS8 to ride it with me.
