Pop Century Air Conditioning

I just got back from Pop Century And I thought I wood let some folks know that that the thermostat in the room will not go lower than 68. I found this a bit warm. When I'm paying top dollar I like to be able to control the temperature of my room. Especially if the weather is warm outside. This could be very unabearable when the much warmer weather arrives. It was uncomfortable even now with the weather 70-78 outside. I had maintenance look at it and they agreed their are problems with the AC's in this resort. Other than that I enjoyed the resort.

On our recent visit I found this to be a problem also. I do not believe the temp in one of our rooms was not correct as everytime I got up and walked around the room I was covered in sweat in no time. I am very hot natured and tend to be hot a lot but this was ridiculous. One room was cooler than the other but neither seemed to be 68 degrees?? However, the rest of my family said it seemed okay to them so I didn't say anything about it.

I totally agree! We had two rooms on our visit (12/24 - 1/1) and it was so hot! Both thermostats registered 68 the entire time, but I know it was much hotter than that. On our first night, someone came by to help us program the tv's so that we could hook up our Gamecube and DVD player so I asked him about the thermostat. He looked at it and said it seemed to be working properly so I did not bother them again. I wonder what the problem is as I have seen other posts saying this same thing.

That being said, we had a great time and thought the resort was very nice!

This really concerns me. I don't want to stay at a resort where you can't have some control over the temp in your room, value resort or not. I sure hope Pop Century addresses this problem.
