DD received the Polly Pockets Amusement Park set for her Birthday from BIL. She really likes it. :)

I had heard of Polly Pockets before, but never looked into them. What are your DD's favorite sets? Do they get played with a lot?

Thanks! :)

My girls really like them and they are played with a lot, but...

the clothes rip very easily. DD got the Cinderella set for Christmas two years ago and the wedding dress ripped within an hour. :(

We have a lot of Polly Pockets! DD had the amuesement park too. My dd loves the princess sets from the disney store. They get a lot of play time.

i used to love polly pockets when i was younger when they were actually pocket. now shes big and just polly. i dont like the new polly.

With DD's set the girls are tiny. Are most of them bigger than that?

My DD has every known Polly Pocket set out there. She has loved them for years and she still plays with them and she's 10! (I can't tell you the number of Polly shoes/outfits I've vacuumed up! They are small!!)

Yes. With the amuesement park (if its the same one dd had) the dolls are tiny and you can't change their clothes, right?

Most of the other Polly Pockets are about 3 inches tall and have rubber clothes you can change

Me neither. I had a heart shaped box, I think it was a ball of some kind. They just don't make toys like they used to :(

I've never seen a big Polly. All of my DD's are teeny tiny.

My girls are big PP fans too. We have a gallon sized ziplock 3/4 filled with pollys and clothes. The parts are small and I am glad we dont have a puppy....

I used to be obsessed with Polly Pocket when I was little. I think I got into it in about 1st grade, and absolutely loved them. But as SPAM and twinkles already said, that's when all the Polly Pockets were little. Some of them are bigger now. I had so many. The amusement park one was one of my favorites. I really liked the school one too.

DD has Polly Pocket sets and the Disney Princess Polly Pockets. They are the only dolls she will play with as the clothes are really easy to put on and take off. We've never had a problem with the clothing ripping but my daughter is older..not sure if that makes a difference.

We have the Rock and Roller Coaster Hotel, the horse stables, and the Disney sets. We find the dolls and clothes hold up but the sets are pretty cheap and easy to break. DD is careful with them but we have to keep DS away or Godzilla attacks Polly Pocket land. ;)

We have Pollys at out house to for my 5 year olds (sounds funny to say that, Emily turned 5 last Saturday and Hannah turns 6 on Friday). They have had a lot of fun with them. Ours are tiny, and the kids sometimes get frustrated getting the clothes on and off.

We have two house-like sets, and airplane and a stable. We also have a hair salon thing (I think that is what it is) and an ice cream parlor

We brought them camping one summer, and it kept the girls occupied at the picnic table for hours.

We have special Polly Pocket zippered carrying cases for ours. They work really well.

all 3 (2,4,6) of my DD's LOVE them!!! They all play together with them. THey youngest has for over a year and never put any in her mouth (yet). The youngest loves the people and the cars and the other 2 really love the disney themed princess ones and the wedding set one. They do like to play with all of them though, all the time.

I keep them in the kitchen and all the little pieces are in a plastic shoe box. I actually have a lot of play/crafty things each in a shoebox. THey are see though and easy for the girls to get in and put away.

I agree with you!! The old Polly was WAY better! ::yes::

I got my neice the WDW themed set and the treehouse. I always keep a few around here for when she comes over because they don't take up a lot of room and they keep her busy!

My older dd has decided that she is done with Poly Pockets and has given all of hers to her younger sister. We have so many of them in our house that I find them everywhere. Eeek! :earseek: Their favorites were the PP pool and shopping center. :sunny:

My daughter is now 13 and she has every Polly Pocket ever made (the original kind). We never got the compact ones though, only the houses. They are no longer made, or at least I didn't think they are. Check eBay, they go for A LOT of money now!!!

We've lost a lot of the lil pieces, but still have TONS and I bought replacements on eBay. We packed them away and my daughter will pass them on to her daughter one day.

My daughter never liked dolls, but would sit and play with the Polly Pockets for hours on end. She did ruin some, but we did get those replaced. I would never let her get rid of them.

Well the "big" Pollys are about 1/4 the size of a Barbie, so still pretty small. The Polly Pockets they used to have were microscopic!

My dd is 9, and she still loves her Polly's. They even made a Harry Potter Hogwart's playset that is "Polly-size" and I am bidding on one on ebay to give her for Xmas.

Wow, Polly is still around? My sister used to play with them when SHE was little!
