We usually spend 2 days at DHS. It will be a one and a half day park on a seven day ticket for us. I think we will go the first day of our trip using morning EMH, do some favorites like Star Tours and TSM and then lunch at Mama Melrose's so we can have seats that evening for Fantasmic. We will spend a long afternoon enjoying our resort and Disney Springs, dinner at WPE and then head back over to Fantasmic. On our final day (which is a half day because of needing to head to the airport at 2) I can see us spending that, again, at DHS repeating those favorite attractions mentioned above, a show and some QS lunch.

DHS has been weak for us for a long time. We are APs and FL residents so we will still visit this year but we'll just do what we normally do: Tower of Terror, RnR, Great Movie Ride, Star Tours, and the Muppets (assuming it survives) then... leave.

No way am I skipping! Now, disclaimer, I have a 7 day park hopper and will not spend a whole day at DHS, but parts of 2, maybe 3 days. I always do 5 or 6 rides on Star Tours over the course of a trip, plus a couple of goes at TSMM. And I want to check out SW Launch Bay and meet Chewbacca. Just speaking for myself, I wouldn't want to skip any park as long as there were still any "Must Dos" for me there.

I love DHS, and will find plenty to do there. I am excited for the new attractions, but will not stay away while waiting.

If they don't extend Symphony in the Stars, I'd probably lean towards skipping. But it seems likely that they will -- and in that case, I wouldn't skip DHS.

Arriving tomorrow....will spend 3 days there.
Still lots to do.
I am having lunch with an imagineer, going to Club Villain, Fantasmic, TSMM as many times as I can along with ToT.
Star Tours, GMR.....LMA before it leaves, Muppets, Beauty and the Beast, Indiana Jones.

Going again in March and Nov....will spend at least 3 days each trip

Like to start our hopper days here.
TSMM at rope drop (plus a FP+ after lunch)
Star Tours several times - still don't know if we have seen all the segments and hoping the Force Awakens will have been added in for our upcoming visit.
Muppets
RnRC FP+ and single rider several times
GMR once just because
Indiana Jones, but only every other visit (will be going in a couple of weeks)
Haven't seen Fantasmic in 3 or 4 years since we are usually in a different park in the evening. Almost forgot about it until I saw this thread, maybe we'll try to attend when we are there in a couple of weeks.

The kids are all grown up now, but anytime they are with us, we are required to have lunch at Pizza Planet (kids still love the little green guys).

Beauty and the Beast: LIVE on STAGE

We will be going at least once, mainly to focus on everything Star Wars: Star Tours, Jedi Academy, and Launch Bay. I think I am more excited to meet Chewie than my DS5. We will go back for an evening if the fireworks continue through May for a few shows and Fantasmic.

We will be going in Aug of 2016! I love HS... ToT is my fave ride. TSMM has become another favorite and we love Star Tours. I also enjoy the shopping there. And now I hear the carrot cake cookie will or is sold somewhere else! So now with writers stop closing we hopefully can still enjoy that delicious treat :-)

We will be spending 2 of our 10 park days at DHS this year. It's DH's favorite park, DS is obsessed with Toy Story, and all of us love Star Wars. Yes, they have closed/are closing a lot, but most of what's gone was filler stuff anyway (though I am sad about Honey I Shrunk the Kids). We skipped a lot of the shows last time, so we are looking forward to seeing them again in June.

Our next trip will be DGSs first trip. And he's crazy for both Toy Story and Star Wars, so yes, we'll definitely go to DHS. But I forsee a long afternoon break before returning for Fantasmic and the fireworks.

Okay, totally showing my ignorance here, but what exactly is closed? All the stuff we like is still there as far as I know....

I'm pretty content to ride Star Tours all day, so none of this really affects what I did originally.

I'm not too pleased with all the construction, but it is what it is.
