Points Expiring, anyone ever use the RCI Option?

Hi, I have 168 points expiring by June 1 which is pressuring me into a vacation while its awfully busy for me at work. these are banked points from last year therfore i would like to find an option so i dont loose them. I call member services and asked about the RCi option and they said i could get a RED week for 160 points and dont need to use them before 2012 once i transfer to RCI. Looked at resorts online and they seem to run the gammet of nice to awsome, but nothing like the Disney Properties.

Anyone have experience, referrals, or any input. I would be most grateful, dont want to get caught up in a scam. Many thanks,

We used points for Aruba...we stayed at Playa Linda (not the Disney cleanliness we are used to) however Aruba's beaches are beautiful and there are some great restaurants. If you want to stay in the states, Big Cedar looks awesome. We are thinking of trying it out. The Sandals resort is another good option (Jamaica). Good luck.
