I have a friend who has a 7:45 am ADR for breakfast at Cape May. She's staying at POFQ and is having trouble figuring out the best way to get there since she won't have a car. I suggested taking the bus to HS and then the boat to BC. That'd be my favorite choice since I love the boat! I checked the Transportation Wizard and it suggested taking a bus to DTD and then to BC OR bus to MK and on to BC.

Anyone have experience with that situation or have a suggestion? I figure no matter what, she'd better plan on an hour to get there, just to be safe. Of course, she could always call a cab, but I think she'd rather avoid the extra cost if possible. Thoughts?

I would go with the taxi. It will cost aroub $20, but give you back about an hour of time that would otherwise have to be spent either waiting for a bus or on a bus. Actually, Disney recommends 90 minutes to get from one resort to another using their transportation.

Otherwise, if she doesn't want to spend the money, I like your idea.:)

Hi! This is my first post in a long while but I'm itching to book my 24th trip! Anyway I agree with CapnJacksgirl. This is what we did when we stayed at PO. Make sure you allow plenty of time! Even if you get there early, the lobby at BC is gorgeous and comfortable and they have a darling gift shop just a few steps away (check it out after breakfast if you don't have time before). The boat from MGM (yep I still call it that; it had just opened when I was honeymooning :) ) The breakfast at CMC, IMO, is by far the most satisfying and relaxing. Enjoy!

A taxi would be far the easiest and fastest way, it's not that long of a trip probably not more than $10 plus tip and will take less than 10 minutes.

Taking a bus to DHS then either the boat ( if it's running at that time ) or walking to the BC will take a min of an hour, which will mean she will have to make sure she get's the first bus from POFQ at about 6:30am.
