Thank you for posting the before and after rate. As peachgirl said (and I tried too, but didn't do a very good job), it's hard to tell what's what because we didn't know starting rates. I was also given the $124 rate, but mine went up more since I started at $74.

Gamer - I was paying $121 for a water view at FQ. They gave me a garden view at the Poly for $138!!!! I can't believe it!

Oh my gosh!! I just got home and I find you all running wild with glee in here. I am soooooooo happy for you! What time do they stop taking calls? My husband wants to call them back when he gets here. Soon I hope. They emailed us that they tried to call but couldn't get through. I can't tell you how excited I am. It has been doom and gloom in this thread. So good to read happy words!!! Am I understanding that they are offering some of the deluxes for $124 a night so depending on what you were paying is how much more you will pay now? Did that make sense?

I believe their hours are 9am - 9 pm est, but they have hours over the weekend too, but I don't know what they are. Our rate was $124 which is a great rate. I'm just glad we know where we are staying and this is over!!

After hearing the luck everyone else was having getting rooms at the Beach Club and the Polynesian, I decided to call myself, and unfortunately, I only had bad luck. I waited on hold for a half hour to speak to someone (I'm glad I called through the Disney Club toll free number). It then took her 15 minutes to locate my reservation (at one point she told me it was cancelled). Needless to say, I was extremely stressed out at this point.

So, after she finally found my reservation, and looked up my code, she told me that they don't have the upgrade rates available for all of the codes yet. I booked mine with a Disney Visa code. She told me they don't have upgrade codes for the Disney Club discounts yet either. She told me to just keep on calling. She said she had no idea when the codes would be available, and that I should just keep on calling back "whenever I feel like calling."

So, I guess the waiting is still going on for me. I'm really get frustrated with this now. With all of the difficulties I've had with this trip (for those who don't remember, I've had my ressie completely cancelled at one point, and then was assigned a confirmation number that no one seems to be able to access, and now the renovations), I just don't know what to do anymore. I guess all's I can do is just keep on calling, and hope that something eventually comes up.

TLinden16 – Keep trying. I was so frustrated at one point that I was going to cancel the entire trip. It took me a full week from when I first heard the news. I called almost everyday. They kept telling me tomorrow, or the next day, or the next day... I had my doubts. Last night, I finally talked with a CM that was very encouraging. I didn’t get her name, only that she introduced herself from WDTC. I was concerned at first because I booked through CRO, but she was the one that told me what they were going to offer the deluxe upgrades (soon) once everything was in the computers. She said to keep calling. For me, it worked. I actually, called twice today all week. Then, finally I got a CM that said she was able to pull up the deluxe upgrades. The list of choices she read to me was very extensive and impressive, I didn’t get it all, but it will satisfy the most disgruntled guest. The pricing is unheard of. As a matter of fact, the CM that booked me into the Poly said this is truly a once in a lifetime deal. I believe it, because I have been to WDW well over 15 times and always wanted to stay there, but it is just way too far out of my price range. They have come through for me and made me a believer again, just as they always do when a problem arises. That is what they do best. After all, they are the number one entertainment company in the world. I’m glad it is over for me, and I hope everyone else will get what he or she wants. Be patient, and polite. You will get there.

I called back to the Special Number this morning and was given some great news! The upgrades were in the system for me, I booked with the Visa cardholder code, and they had some info for me-yeah!

I booked the Poly for $155/night ($33.50 w/tax more per night) for a garden view room. I was offered the BWI, CR, YC, BC for the same price and was offered the WL or AKL for less (sorry I didn't write down the price).

Johnnyr-Thanks for the support. I think that hearing about other people having luck, and then running into a brick wall is frustrating. Some cast members are telling me to wait for a call, others are telling me to keep on calling. I don't want to miss out on this "once in a lifetime" deal either. So, I guess I'll just keep calling.

The cast member I spoke with last night asked me if another moderate would work for me, and I told her that I had stayed at all of them, and they are just too big for my tastes. I told her that I knew I would be setting myself up to be disappointed if I stayed at another moderate (and I mean that--I'm not saying that to get an upgrade, I really wasn't that impressed by the other moderates).

So, I guess I'll call again this weekend and hope for the best. I hope everyone else gets what they want.

fhagerty: They offered my TA the $30 upgrade to the Poly or Dolphin, no others were mentioned. I received notice on Mon. 4/7, I think because I booked through Dis cruise line. I didn't have a special rate at FQ, not even sure what I was paying since it was all linked into the cruise. I took the Poly right away and was thankful for it since we are leaving May 1, not much time to change plans.

Well....it's done! My DH called at 9 am and after being put on hold for about twenty minutes he got a CM that told us they have no 3 rooms together at either one of the other moderates so she offered us an upgrade right off the bat. $33 more per night at Beach Club. Unfortunately with us paying for all 3 rooms we cannot afford $99 more per night so she then offered us AKL for $200 more total. We are thrilled. We have always wanted to stay there. The CM was so sweet. He told her about my limping and she started telling him about the pool there and how it will be so easy for me because of the entry. She also said she would be making a note on our reservations that we are misplaced guests from PO/FQ. She said some of the hotels may be giving upgrades to these guests because of all we have gone through with this mess. {that could work against us too I know} He also asked her about the disney visa code and she said not to worry about that. It is still being honored even if you are not a visa holder. She also said that code had nothing to do with these upgrades so keep calling back TLinden16. This girls name was Deb. I'm so happy this seems to be working out for most of us so far. I can't wait to hear more about what everyone gets offered. Whooo Hooo! It's over. Now I can settle down and get back to planning. Thank you all for this thread. Just knowing you all are out there listening has been so wonderful.

I just wanted to let everyone who might have booked a reservation at rack rate hoping to later put your DC discount on it that you cannot do it for the POFQ. I tried to do this today and instead had to rebook my reservation and since the computers are not allowing bookings at the FQ, you cannot book the discount. Hopefully I will be offered a nice upgrade to make up for that difference in price on 2 rooms!

OK here is what I got, now tell me if I did the right thing. We were to stay at POFQ June 15-19 at 104.81 per night. I just got AKL Savana View June 15-20 at $127.20 per night. I was told that the normal rate for this room is $350. My total stay without any discounts would have been $1199. I'm getting it for $636.
I just wish I felt as happy and excited as I did when I first made my POFQ ressies. Now I'm worried I made the wrong move. We could have stayed at the CBR for the same price as POFQ, but with 2 little ones I felt it was just too big.

We are sooooo excited !!!!!!
After a long 45 minute hold, I finally spoke to the relocation team and was offered a Poly garden view room for $124 a night !! I was also offered YC and BC for this same price . WL was not available for our dates (6/14-6/18).
The Poly is our absolute favorite, but can't always afford to stay there. This was such an incredible price, we could not pass it up !! By the way, the CM mentioned an upgrade right away, did not even ask about transfering to another moderate.

H&Hmommy You are going to love AKL - especially with your two little ones. We stayed there end of last April with our 2 year old and it was so WONDERFUL , just WONDERFUL! My son (&DH) loved to sit on the balcony & watch the animals in the early AM. Plus the balcony was a great escape for DH & me once DS fell asleep.

We were at CBR this February and although it was nice & had a great time - it just couldn't beat AKL. Plus, you got a great rate for a savannah view. We paid $188 last Arpil (discount to police officers involved in 9/11) and I thought that was good

I spoke to my TA on Fri. and she called and was told that they are not offering upgrades on our package yet. I booked the Dream Maker + $ilver. What difference should that make. She was also told to try back Mon. or Tues. and maybe by then they would be offering something.
