I called this morning, I was on hold for the relocation department for 5 minutes, I told her my dates, she asked what resort I was interested in, I said Boardwalk Inn, she said I can have it for $415 for the three nights we are staying there, I said that's great, she gave me my new reservation number and asked if there was anything else she could do for me, I said you have done enough, she said have a great day, I said you too. Call time 10 minutes and I am as thrilled as I can be.

We are now at Boardwalk Inn 6/16-6/19 and Wilderness Lodge 6/19-6/22. Very excited.

I just called today. They told me to call back by Monday or Tuesday. I have reservations for 6/26 thru 7/4. I hope to get a decent place. Will let everyone know what I get. Be interesting to see what they can do for during that time of the season. We originally got our reservations thru the Disney Club and our package was update as of today. Just for those who have the same thing....

Is everyone tired of seeing me post about this? I've probably posted more than anyone else on this subject.

I got my call back from WDTC, and I'm still waiting to find out where I will be staying. The cast member today was very helpful. She patiently explained why the codes weren't available for my rate, and why my reservation had to be switced from the Disney Club payment policy to the WDTC payment policy. She asked me which resort I was most interested in, and she promised that she would personally call me back the second she got information on codes for my package. She even made sure that she had my correct work number, and said I should receive a call by midweek. So, hopefully I will hear something by Wednesday.

Thanks everyone for listening to me vent, and offering words of encouragement. You've all made this situation a little easier for me.

I totally freaked until we finally got it settled. You are in my thoughts and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we will soon be reading a post from you telling us that you received everything you need to make your trip a wonderful one. Has anyone using DU received any info? I have two rooms at the POFQ 6/2 - 6/8 using the FL resident rate of $74 (per room) per night. I love the FQ because of the size, we actually felt like we got our money out of the mugs! I've stayed at POR and CBR(2) and never even went into the food court area. I really would like to know where we'll be relocated, and I'm curious as to what we might be offered. (I really like the $74 a night idea, but an upgrade would be great too!)

DisneyFreaks--Thanks for your good wishes. I'm feeling confidant that this will be settled for me within the next few days. I'm really trying to not let it bug me as much as I did the beginning of the week (although I don't know how successful I'm being at that). It's a vacation. It's supposed to be fun.

One thing I know, no matter where I stay, or what I plan, it's all going to be all right once I take a ride on Splash Mountain. Then I'll forget all about my ressie problems.

Hi Honeychild I'm using DU and have gotten an e-mail telling me she is working on it. Don't worry I have used them many times and they always come through. By the way my dates are 5/8/03-5/12/03 so I'm hoping to hear soon! I'll post here to let everyone know when we get something.

Honeychild - I'm using DU and we'll be there June 7-13. My TA said she's working on it; I used a Disney Club code and the upgrades for that are "supposed" to be in the computer system either today or tomorrow.

I think I'm going to be out of luck with upgrades. I got in POFQ with a discount code at $74 per night and they aren't offering upgrades for that code yet. I can understand that though, I'm sure they are offering upgrades to people paying higher rates first which makes perfect sense. My TA talked to Disney folks and they suggested for me to reserve rooms at another moderate to insure the $74 rate at least which she did, but said that I could still upgrade later if available. The fact that we will probably be the lowest on the totem pole when it comes to upgrades and the fact that I need 3 rooms doesn't leave much hope. That being said I'll be quite pleased staying at Coronado for $74 a night, I was just holding out hope for maybe Poly for $104..Bob

I had $74/night with a postcard code, but was still given the same upgrade that most are getting at $124/night at the Boardwalk - but that's the least I've *ever* paid there, so I'm ecstatic! Can't wait to get there 5/15-19.

Now, I am not sure if I understand all the lingo going on in here, but if DC means Disney Club, I just got an upgrade on saturday to the AKL and I was using the code AXA at POFQ. I bought the dreammaker package, and for the AKL I am only paying like $32.00 more a night. I don't know if that helps anyone or not, but if it does, I wanted to get it out there..........

Well, I made the call yesterday after leaving my name and number at the relocation department. They called back less than 24 hrs later and it seems like I did not have to wait at all on the phone. I talked to a very nice rep whose name I cannot remember and she explained about the resort closing and then asked if I was interested in another moderate or upgrades. It was odd that I did not have to even push for the upgrades and she was really happy and got some really good upgrades for me. I only asked about AKL and Poly, so those are the only ones I got. For Aug 11 - Aug 17, I was offered Poly at $20 more a night and AKL savannah view at $8 more a night. Not too sahbby. I chose not to have to pick one or another, so I decided to split my stay and be at the Poly for 4 nights and AKL for 2. This is so awesome. It is totally worth it if you are worrying about your reservations to call and get your name in and have them call you back. That way you can save the hour on hold and still get some pretty awesome rates.
All I can say right now is THANK YOU DISNEY!!!

Just looking to see if anybody else still has not heard anything?Our dates are 5/2-5/7, does any one else have dates around this time and are still waiting? I hate to call, because I feel it is their responsiblity to call me. If I did not read this board I still would have no idea yet. Any body out there still waiting?????? Thanks for any replys.
