Hope everyone is having a good day. I've been trying to get so many things accomplished at work - there just aren't enough hours in the day -
I mean how can I possibly stay connected with the DIS when work keeps getting in the way

Paid that, already. Working on paying for hotel and tickets and extras (like excursions, hard tickets, - or credits for ). Send money in early, that way I know it doesn't get spent on something else.

I put mine in a saving account earmarked for this trip and have been putting all extra money for the last year. That way I get the interest on the money, until I have to send it in.

Airline tickets are purchased.
Will purchase park ticket before the end of July.

All that is left is paying Tracey for my share of her DVC room.
And food.
And extra trips/excursions.

Payment is made at time of booking - cancellation policy is 100% refund up to 48 hours before the tour.

Annual Pass, AAA & DVC discount is 15% off cost of tour, Disney Visa is 20% when paid on the Disney Visa.

95% sure we paid at the time of reservation.
I believe there is a 48 hr cancellation policy to get a full refund.

Hi Todd and all our other Cruisemates!

I haven't been online lately ...

We've been having DISdog problems lately. Our six year old Shepherd/Dachshund mix (pound puppy) has been having seizures for the past few months. He's currently on phenobarbital (a human seizure medicine). However, he has gotten worse even on the medicine. He is having a hard time walking and even yelps randomly. The vet seems to think the problem is neurological. Maybe, a tumor. Bill has been doing research and thinks it may be brain cancer due to his symptoms. Within this past week, he really has taken a turn for the worst. Sadly, we have been talking about putting him to sleep. It is such a hard and painful decision to make. He (JJ) has been such a great dog. He was playful and VERY tolerant of the kids. It just kills Bill and I to see him suffer. As of now, we are planning on putting him to sleep this Friday. Hopefully, he will finally be at peace. However, I don't know how we are going to tell the children ...

Jen: I'm so sorry you and Bill are going through this. We've been there and its honestly one of the hardest decisions you'll ever make. I have always reassured myself with the thought that at least it *is* a decision we can make for our precious animals, when the suffering is too great.

Thanks for the reminder. I got an offer to intice me to use a credit card I haven't used for ages so I'll pay for the cruise with that - at least I'll get some money back

Morning everyone - it's a bit wet here, I got soaked leaving work yesterday and it's only about 2 minutes to get to my car Still raining today on and off

Another crazy busy day for me at work, the only bright spot is that I am not scheduled to have as long of a day as yesterday.

Met with a family late yesterday, it is meetings like that which remind me how lucky I am. My kids, my brothers and I are healthy.

Happy Thursday, cruising friends!!

The last two evenings I went to dinner with my ex-gf. Tuesday was supposed to be a get together of the crowd we ran with in high school and last night was with our moms.

Well everyone ditched us on Tuesday, so it was just she and I at a table for eight. The food was good though. And it gave us plenty of time to catch up. From what I can gather of her verbal geography of Iowa, she is about halfway between Muscatine and Des Moines...but upon further investigation, she is closer to Muscatine. Last night we feasted on Lebanese cuisine. I have to say, it was as good as what my grandfather's third wife makes (she's from Lebanon). So I have kafta, kibee, grape leaves and chicken tawook for lunch. Oh and homemade pita poofs. Yummmmmmmm.

I am sending my final payment for the cruise in on Sept 1st.
ADRs made and 1 tour booked.
DVC Resort Reservations - secured Pre & Post Cruise
Airline Tickets booked and paid for.
MVMCP Ticket -- Holding until end of October/1st of November in hopes of AP or DVC Discount to be released like last year.
AP will be renewed in September.
Still need to decide on Excursions I want to do on the cruise.
