Welcome aboard!!!
:welcome

Glad you came and posted to join in.

In case you have any 'unaccounted' for time, there is a link in my siggie of events being put together by DISers for the time surrounding the cruise.

BTW, I  (Ask)Tracy, too.

:flower3: Thank you for the warm welcome. DH and I "briefly" met you at DAP before the Seminar. You kindly showed us the room to drop off the GKTW donations.

:thumbsup2 DH has been on this thread and checked out your link.

We are on the fence right now about MVMCP on Thursday. After the cruise, we are staying at WDW through Christmas. Since I am a SAHM, DH jokes he'll need to get a second job to pay for all the ADRs I've made. So, if I can fit it into the budget, we "may" attend MVMCP for my Mom's sake. She is leaving the Sunday after the cruise. Like mentioned, we're staying through Christmas. So, we can see the holiday parade and fireworks for free the next week.

:thumbsup2 We are on the list for DATW on Friday. I got a sitter (Kid's Nite Out) for the kids. I am really looking forward to this childless evening.

I will check out your list and see if anything piques my interest. :surfweb:

Well....just browsing the PCC 2.0 threads, without knowing anyone, you might get that we are polygamists, gluttons obsessed with cake AND pie, drunkards, cougars, willing to shove children in lockers, and a few other things.

I don't find any of that questionable.

I find it fits me quite well.

Aren't we?? :rolleyes1 Agree that none of that is questionable.

Another comment on a post a few pages back ...

My grandparents are "old school" Italians. They call the red stuff you put on pasta "gravy" or "red gravy".

Me, I call it spaghetti sauce. ;)

I remember. And I even think I was able to get a photo with y'all. :scratchin

:thumbsup2 Yes, we did!

Before we approached you, DH was like I think that is Todd, "Tiara Todd". Sometimes, people can be so friendly and outgoing on the boards and when you meet them in person, they are shy. You were just like you are on the boards, friendly and full of life. It was great to meet you!

Good afternoon everyone! The girls are home from grandma and grandpa's house.

I'm asking for a few prayers and pixie dust for Emilie. She has to have an endoscopy bright and early tomorrow morning. She has been dealing with acid reflux for what we thought was off and on the last few years. But, I'm thinking it has probably been more on than off, and she has just adapted to it. They are going to put her to sleep for the procedure, and while it's a very minor procedure, we'll still a little concerned with the outcome and just the whole experience. Emilie has no fear, and she is very scared about tomorrow.

Thanks!

WOW...not only are you Texans, your My Kind : Italian Texans! Funny how Italians and Texans both have a history of liking guns.

We met at DAP but it was a quick meeting. DH will be with me on PCC 2.0 so you can meet my better half. He does not have the Disney gene but will go with me once every 5 years. In turn, I go on a beach vacation with him.

Aggielawyer is heading up a group of Texans or Texan wanna be's for a fish extender group. PM her if you are interested. I have never been on a Disney Cruise but the whole FE thing sounds like Christmas every day.

So glad you will be on Board!

I too know the Taylors. You just look alike and I can't tell you apart. :)

Trust me to be busy on a night when everyone is posting :sad2:

It's sauce in our house as well :thumbsup2

I am taking Friday off.. 4 day work week = 4 day weekend = 4 day work week..

Cool, are you doing anything?

My Italian friend from North Jersey always insisted that the red stuff ladled on top of spaghetti is gravy.

I always thought gravy was poured over turkey and mashed potatoes!

 Over here gravy is brown :thumbsup2

Go by yourself!! You can't wait that long to see it...I'm going tomorrow at some point with DH. I still can't believe he volunteered to take me...I know he's going to use it against me at some point...:lmao:

::yes:: I'm sure he will, but it will be worth it I'm sure :goodvibes

Hmmmm :scratchin....he wants to go to the Apple Store on Saturday...there's a movie theatre in the same mall....Five Guys is across the street...he wants to try Five Guys....hmmmmmm :scratchin

That's two for him and one for you, so then he will owe you something

For a lunch healthier than Five Guys - the one I have today!

I found it in the freezer. It is my recipe with sweet potato, chicken, edamame, tomato, carrot, spinach and rice. Can't remember the exact spices, but they smell very much like Boma!
YUM!!!

Yum, sounds good popcorn::

Just finished mine.
It was (found the recipe!) African Peanut Stew.

last recipe on this link
http://www.relishmag.com/article/24957.html

This is the recipe I started with, but I know I made changes.
For my preferences, I left out the bell pepper. Added chunks of chicken. In addition to the ginger and curry powder, I may have added some other spices, but don't remember what!

Thanks for the recipe, I may try that :thumbsup2

As for lunch, I am having cheese, crackers and apple slices

I had cheese, crakers and yogurt :thumbsup2

:thumbsup2 We did a Fish Extender exchange on another cruise with some fellow DISers. Every time we came back to our stateroom, the kids would feel the bottom of our BIG stocking (it was around Christmas time) to see if any goodies were left.

It was a seven day cruise. So, we came home with lots of goodies. We may join the Texas group. :thumbsup2

Just one of the few thinngs that is just very wrong with the world! :lmao:

I know!

Nice one - well spotted :thumbsup2

:wave2: Hi All!

:rolleyes1 I can't believe this is the first time I have posted on this thread. I just spent an hour reading this one thread. :surfweb: I can't believe you are already on Part 3!!!!

DH (Bill AKA DisneyTaylors), myself, DS10, DD7 (8 by cruise time), DS4 (5 by cruise time) and my Mom (60 something ;) ) will be on the cruise with y'all. I can't wait!!!!!

:boat: This will be our 4th Disney cruise (2 xs on the Wonder and 1x on the Magic). We loved our past Disney cruises and can't wait to get back onboard for more "magic". :wizard:

:dance3: This will be our third DISUnplugged event. We attended DAP last year with DS4 (the other children had school) and DH and I were lucky enough to be on the ABD trip this past April (It was amazing and a "must" for any Disney fan!!!). I can't believe over 700 DISers are coming together on the Disney Wonder. This cruise is going to be amazing!!!! DCL will never be the same again! :rotfl:

We honestly had no intentions of going on the PCC 2.0 this year. We had plans to take the kids to Disneyland and LA in December to "make-up" for not taking them on the ABD trip. However, we sat with Tracy (winotracy) and Bill a few times while on the ABD trip. She can be a very persuasive saleswoman. Also, everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Which sadly is rare in today's world. By the end of the Tour, DH was ready to book. We really wanted to travel with these people again. The rest is history. We're booked, have passports and ready to go! :thumbsup2

I am excited in getting to know the rest of you for the next six months. Then, we can turn all our anticipation into a reality. I can't wait to hear the sweet sound of The Wonder horn blowing "When You Wish Upon A Star". :cloud9:

:goodvibes Jennifer

:woohoo: :woohoo: Great to have you along!!

These guys can be quite persuasive  But it's gonna be so much fun

I can't wait to see everyone on board :goodvibes

On PCC 1.0, I kept a spreadsheet of posters. There were many many many DISers that only posted once or twice.
Posting on message boards isn't everyone's cup of tea. And a lot of people don't have the luxury to be able to spend so much time as some of us do.
There will be a fair amount of people that you won't recognize their board name. There will be quite a few that you do.
If we have business cards similar to what was handed out at the DAP seminars, then we could even spread some of the DIS Board loving to the non-DIS cruisers who are going to be asking
'what the heck is going on?'
'why are all these people wearing the same shirt?'
'was that guy wearing a crown?'
'what's up with GI Joe in the sleeveless shirt with the water balloons?'
'do these people ever sleep?'

Yes we met a couple of people that asked what it was all about on PCC 1.0 :thumbsup2 They nodded but I don't think they 'got' it

Cards are a good idea! I'll have to make some :cool1:

Are you saying that we are a "questionable group"?

Very :thumbsup2

Since I am late to the thread, I want to comment on some posts a few pages back ...

Hot dogs in a jar. Yuck!!!!! I lived in Belgium for four years. I will never forget going into a Belgian grocery store and seeing "filet américain" onsale. It was ground beef mixed with spices and they eat it RAW with an UNCOOKED egg cracked on top of it. Can you say ... E. coli and salmonella?!?!?!?! I am sure their stomachs are used to it. They also crack a raw egg on pizza too. Those are traditions I never tried while there. ;) I did however enjoy many frites and waffles. Oh and chocolate ... :cloud9:

:goodvibes Jennifer

Mmm, chips (fries) and mayo :goodvibes The waffles are so good in Belgium. Where abouts did you live?

:flower3: Thank you for the warm welcome. DH and I "briefly" met you at DAP before the Seminar. You kindly showed us the room to drop off the GKTW donations.

Thanks I didn't know about being able to see the parade and fireworks the next week. We were thinking of doing MVMCP but may leave it and plan a night at MK later on. We're staying until the 28th - where are you staying?

:cloud9: :cloud9: Love the stocking. We're sticking with the one I made, but I'm thinking a bit of tinsel would look festive :santa:

And (as Austin Powers would say) I'm spent :faint:

I too know the Taylors. You just look alike and I can't tell you apart. :)

:surfweb: DH (DisneyTaylors) is funny. He had me read a post of yours over his shoulder one time about how your children would rather go on a family trip to Mt. Rushmore than on a Disney cruise. :rotfl:

:scared1: I was shocked when our children found out about our ABD trip and didn't care that we were going without them. We visit WDW at least twice a year (one year it was four times and we DRIVE from Texas!!!!) Luckily, DH and I both are Disney fans. So, it doesn't take much coaxing to get him to part with his hard earned cash on a Disney cruise or DVC. Now for that $100 perfume, that takes smoozing! :rotfl:

:goodvibes Jennifer

WOW! Almost 20 pages in 1 day....boy I sure did miss a lot yesterday and today. Guess I'll be doing a lot of reading. :goodvibes This is how I got to spend my yesterday.....

8am - Dropped DD14 at HS cheer practice
8:30am - Picked up DD9 from aunts house
9:10am - Dropped DD9 off at Flight camp
10am - Picked up DD14 from cheer practice with a stop by her aunt house for a shower before dropping her at Science and Math camp
11:30am - Back home for quick lunch with DH
12:30pm- Out the door to pick up DD9 by 1pm
2pm - Meet with lady to buy dresser/night stand from her
3pm - Pick up DD14 from camp
3:30 - Pick up DD3 from daycare
3:30- 4:30 Drove home, dropped kids, drove to movies to pick up Eclipse tickets.
6pm - Tumble class for DD9
7pm - Pick up dinner from the mall (and 2 pair of shoes and 4 Team Jacob shirts)
9-10:30 Quick Nap
11pm - Heading to movies
2:30am - Heading home

Needless to say I had to take PTO for that and then WORK all day today. :rotfl: One good piece of news...I got my post cruise stay at Old Key West. :goodvibes

Hope everyone else Wed. was GREAT!!!
