teva, it seems that Becky would have mentioned to someone that she was going on vacation. Maybe not, but I don't remember any mention of it. If that's the case, maybe she'll be home soon.

As for the children, yes they found their way back in. I think it was so they could sit in the same room as me and bicker. It seems that is what they live for lately! There is an end in sight--this next week on Tues we go to the state capital for a tour, then on Thurs we go on our "vacation" the day after we get back they go to VBS for 4 days and the week after that we start school. Yeha!!! Structure is lacking around here and it is time to sit their little behinds at the table for some mental activity. Besides, I am scared that DS forgot how to read over the summer so I'm getting a little nervous. See even homeschooling moms long for school to start!

Briar--I soooo have had trips to the park like that. I have a time limit on swing pushing too. I tell them I did not come to the park for them to sit there and me do all the work. thankfully all of mine have learned or are learning how to pump. Do it yourself, kid.

So, no one has Becky's email, huh? That is worrisome. I hope she is just sleeping.

That Ewan guy does not come close to Andy. Of course, none of them can touch Nicholas Cage. I love that man. DH has been warned that if he shows up at the door, I am out of here. Of course, since we live in the middle of MN, that is highly unlikely. I just thought it was fair to let him know.

ok ladies, yes I shower, sometimes 3 or 4 times a day, depending on how many fire call I answer

ok, here is how my day went ....

got up at 5 am, SHOWERED, headed out to Pensecola FL (DW went along for the ride)
we decided because ups is not always on time, we would take the senic route, a nice little drive through live oaks and across Mobile Bay, stopped at a nice resturant around 7:30am in Spanish Fort Alabama, lite breakfast

we get to Pensecola around 9:30am, get out product list start going through box and checking each thing off, we find that one part did not arrive at 7:30am make phone calls to see when it will arrive, they say 7:30, I remind them it is 10am

part arrives around 11am, I talk a little crap, get DW a new John Deere hat she likes (uses them when she is working in the yard), for free

so we leave Pensecola around 11:30am, hit the interstate because we are running late for lunch res at steak house, we get to the steak house about 2 min before our seating time, and we are lucky because several had cancled so no problem getting seated,(DW didnt know about res ) we both had 12 oz new york strip (cajun style medium), 6 grilled jumbo shrimp, baked potato & a salad, I had a couple michelob ultra and she had her usual sweet tea with or entre (spinach dip and house salsa w/baked chips)

we left the resturant around 1:30 pm, and I drove back along the senic route, with a small deture to deliver parts, and spent a very pleasant day with my DW

one very happy DW

I used to like NC. However, a former roomate of mine was obsessed with him and watched Face Off about a bazillion times. I could almost recite it word for word. So now, not so much into him. I think he is a great actor though.

We just watched Lord of War the other night, and I really liked it. I didn't think that I would.

OMG

I am a NC fan! I can't think of a single movie that he was in that I didn't like.
