Was anyone home while you left said crockpot on low ;)
DS 16 didnt leave the house till 8am (football practice), DS 13 went and mowed a yard at 6:30am, and was home by 8:30am, DS 16 was back home at 10:30 am, DS 13 went out to help hang flowers (one of the ladies yards he mowes) was back home around 11:30am, DS 16 went to work at subway at 12:30 pm, DS 13 was home until 2:30 when he went to another ladies house and finished the fish pond in her garden area, we picked him up around 4:30pm on our way home :teeth:

DD's were home until 1pm then went swimming with my cousin (in a pool at a friends house)

so all but about 2 hrs, someone was here :teeth:

P.S.
I have the crockpot on the stove top, and when DS 13 left he set the alarm, it also has a smoke detector, if it goes off and there is no answer at the house it calls 911 and reports breakin or smoke alarm, then calls my cell phone :thumbsup2

i just popped in to say i like your new thread title :thumbsup2

Hey everybody,

I see we all have some very exciting plans for a Friday night :rotfl2: . Is it possible for it to be too hot to even want to head out to the pool? I dread even attempting to get the boys into their suits, get the beach bag packed, get my rear into a suit and drive to the pool. I think I'm lazy, but I'm hot and lazy so that's my excuse.
I have a question concerning preschool. Zack is starting preschool in September and he needs a backpack. Does anyone have any advice on what kind to buy him. I assume that he won't be carrying economics books home so he doesn't need anything real fancy (he is a prodigy though, so you never know :rotfl: ). I thought about getting him one on the Disney site, he wants a "Cars" one. But I wonder how much confusion that will cause when 8 of 10 boys in his class will have a "Cars" backpack. I know this so not important, but it's too hot to think about anything too complicated so any deep thoughts on backpacks for preschoolers would be great.
