You are too funny! I want whatever medication you are taking. I told Shug in a PM tonight that I just realized that the meds that my DD was given after her wisdom teeth removal were generic Perocet. Don't think I didn't do a little happy dance since she didn't finish them all. Now to hide them from her--she is not bringing them back to college with her. No way, Jose. The next time I have one of my migraines that won't go away, I know what I'm taking. :teeth: Of course if I've already taken my Rx migraine meds that might not be such a good idea.

And now I know why she typed an AIM away message the first night that she took the meds that said "skeeping". :rotfl:

Nose picking Oceangram? Please explain!

Of course now, every time I see "Oceangram", I see another more exciting
word. :lmao:

Oooo Perkies!! I got a stash of them too! When my mom had her Mohs surgery on her face she got a Rx for them. She didn't need them. I got those babies tucked away for a rainy day. One never knows when one might acquire pain. :thumbsup2

Bonnie is Oceangram's official translator. (As Angel was for Shug when she was toasted on her medications)

I am so confused now!!!

As far as translating, I was a little concerned about my DD, because before she went to "skeep" that first night, she was trying to type to her college roommate. Her roommate knew she was taking the meds, but the problem was the roommate's grandma had just died and I am so hoping that Aly didn't say anything stupid or insensitive. I cringed the next morning when Aly told me. :scared: So no giving sympathies after perkie!

Yeah, it's not really good to try to carry on a serious conversation after taking certain medications. Once, after I had major surgery and totally loaded on some vicodin I told a friend of mine I was sorry to hear her grandmom was "circling the drain." :sad2:

It's from one of my peeps. Don't know exactly which one yet. I can't control them. Raging female hormones and all.

You have "peeps"?

Good Morning!

Feel free to call me crazy  , but I'm a little concerned with one of our soccer player's parents. Keep in mind that these boys are four, this will be their first organzied sports team. The goals of the season are 1) teach them to kick the ball in the right goal, 2) have them make friends, 3) No crying on the field (they are however more than welcome to cry off the field, around the field, on the way to the field....). We had a team meeting last Tuesday and the said parent wants his child to play a position and is wanting a whole list of qualifications on my coaching experience- umm I was the only one to volunteer, that makes me qualified.
This AM I get a call about next week's game, at get this 7am. HUH? It's the weekend, I don't function before 8:30am on the weekend. His question, what time does the game start. I gave him a schedule and even highlighted our games in a festive color. Hmmmm, wonder if he's going to call the week before each game this early.

When I was on pain meds for my appendix, I made promises to my DH that theres was no way that I could keep. It's not possible to be that flexible :rotfl: , didn't stop him from asking once the meds were out of my system thou.

I know what he looks like.

What's everyone doing today? It's DDs 3rd birthday today. They grow so fast.

Tell your DD- :bday:. I hope her day is perfect.

I'm off to go get my haircut. Wish me luck, I always have great hair days the week before I have an appointment and then poof haircut and crappy hair days to follow. Have a wonderful day.

Too funny!!!

Good luck with the soccer parent! We've normally been lucky with our baseball parents. Some have been a little too high strung, noticing every little thing their child does. Some don't take it seriously enough, coming late for games and not showing for practices. But in general, most parents are fine. Qualifications for coaching 4yo's? :rotfl: Yeah, right! :rotfl2:

Briarmom, happy birthday to your DD!
