I like teva's version of the party, but maybe you're thinking of Shug's party? She had her sister's birthday that she'd baked the neat cake for and I was just going to post asking her how it went. If her sister didn't like it I'm going to go have a talk with her! Has Shug checked in since then?

Sorry, not checking in much anywhere at the moment. It hurts to sit here for long.

Next month for BIL's birthday I'm making a cake that looks like a bed with a butt nekkid Barbie spread eagle on top of it I'll have to PM you all a photo of that one. Dh and I had been together just over a month when I made him one for his birthday and took it to him at work. He loved it and so did the rest of the guys. I think it sealed the deal

Hi Shug! I am really enjoying it! There are so many characters in it. But I like how much Darcy loves Elizabeth! And it's funny to hear the horndog stuff described in those Jane Austen-esque terms!

3. You know, I almost went to a party last weekend but you had to go and ruin it.

1) rotator cuff surgery 6 weeks ago. still hurts a lot more and a lot longer than I expected especially to hold it at the angle to use the mouse
2) I'll put you on the list, it always gets a big laugh and the guys love it
3) how did I ruin your party? I'd have made a cool cake if you'd have asked!

For my niece's birthday in Dec I'm going to tackle a handbag cake (made to look like a designer handbag) or maybe a cell phone. that'll be fun!

No, my mother was a decorator for years. She won tons of awards for her designs and I just picked it up helping her. I'm far from a pro. You can actually take a class at any Michael's craft store. They are fairly cheap and it's a lot easier than it looks! You should check it out!

You are too funny! I want whatever medication you are taking. I told Shug in a PM tonight that I just realized that the meds that my DD was given after her wisdom teeth removal were generic Perocet. Don't think I didn't do a little happy dance since she didn't finish them all. Now to hide them from her--she is not bringing them back to college with her. No way, Jose. The next time I have one of my migraines that won't go away, I know what I'm taking. Of course if I've already taken my Rx migraine meds that might not be such a good idea.

And now I know why she typed an AIM away message the first night that she took the meds that said "skeeping".

Of course now, every time I see "Oceangram", I see another more exciting word.
