It actually was his job. But then the company got sold and a new president came in and brought all his own people. The company went downhill after that. They finally fired that president (about 6 years later) and this one guy is the only one left. He's on shaky ground and knows it. My DH knows the job far better.

Although we are certain its a matter of time before he goes and they give the position back to DH he says he won't take it. He didn't appreciate what they did the first time around and he's not going through that again. We were very happy living in NC when the company gave him the promotion and moved us back up to NH and then less than a year later they take it away. We were pissed because we loved the south and never would have moved if we had known! The one nice thing though is they never decreased his salary back down so he gets paid pretty good for a field guy!

I think though he would take it if they offered it again because he needs to get out of the field and behind a desk. The poor man can barely walk anymore. He actually asked me to rent him a scooter for him for the trip. I was going to anyway but he ended up asking.


So, I'm all packed and pretty much ready to go. DH still isn't home yet so I guess I have time for a shower.

4's, that is crappy! My DH is going through bad stuff at work and I can identify. It's hard to see them treated that way. Thankfully we haven't had a move and he's been able to still work from home, but he's been treated so poorly and made to prove himself even though his work has been good all along. One of his new bosses isn't too crazy about him, but the other one likes him. He's making his quotas it seems, which is good financially, but it means that they won't terminate him, which he was hoping for. It's bad when a person wants to be fired. As it stands now he doesn't hardly have time to get another job. And the stress level is so highwith him you could cut it with a knife.

I'm so glad that I'm not doing the after school daycare this fall that I've done for years because a lot more of the load driving kids places will fall on me and I don't want him to have to watch other kids (either the daycare child I had last year or even Jake after school when I drive Zach to games, practices, etc). It will lessen the stress having me free in the afternoons. He always resented me doing the daycare, so this will be one thing off my plate. Of course he liked the $...

Tim has been working so much overtime that I've been a single parent this past week. We're hoping that is over with for now. The check he got was a good thing though!!! I hope that he won't be working this weekend so we can do things with the kids. Their behavior has been getting worse by the day.

Sorry your dh is having work problems TB. Tim had a jerk boss once. It was tough to deal with. With Tim it was personal and not work related so his co workers went to the top boss about it and he put a stop to it.

At 5:15 the nurse finally called me back. I made an appt for Monday morning just in case I'm still not feeling well. I will hopefully remember to call and leave a message cancelling on Sunday if I'm fine. You all need to remind me! Or I'll just go. If I forget to cancel and feel fine I'll make up something.

Maybe I'll do some stalking. I'm never very good at it since I forget who I'm supposed to be stalking.

How are you teva? I wish I lived close to the beach like you do. A walk in the sand sounds so good right now.

Sorry I've been kind of posting and dashing lately. I wish that I had tons of fun stuff going on, but alas no such luck. We are headed to a minor league baseball game tonight, which is alot of fun but also alot of work with the boys in tow. I'm gearing up for coaching Zack's soccer team, first game is next Saturday. I'm a little uncertain how this will all play out, due to the fact when I volunteered to coach DH wanted nothing to due with the whole affair and now it seems that he wants to do it all (minus the actual phone calling, practice scheduling and other fun actiivities). I'm all for him doing it, but I want him to do it all then- I don't want to be stuck with the errands and then not get to enjoy the actual fun part of coaching. Maybe I should just lay on the floor and scream and kick my legs- it seems like an effective way of voicing your needs and wants around here lately .
T&B-I'm so sorry that you're still feeling crappy. Maybe an island vacation is inorder.
4's- I hope I haven't already missed you, have a wonderful relaxing fun trip. Can't wait to hear about it when you get back

Perhaps I'm confused (that never ever happens ). So please work with me, lets make something up. My kids have offically taken what little mind power I had to begin with and melted it into some mushy liquid that if I turn my head too fast falls out my ears.

The party was great, thanks for asking! Andy Garcia was there. He took one look at me and left his wife, swept me up in his arms and we've been living happily ever after.
