Tequilla and spiced rum do not so nice things to my stomach. Give me vodka, sloe gin, goldshlaager (probably spelled wrong), or most other "shooter" type drinks though and I'm gtg :)-
:sad2: Goldschlager is baaadddd...it's no fun pukin' bling
So I've been trying to broaden my alcohol horizons. Every weekend, while Roadie generously bowls with my husband for me :goodvibes I've been trying new drinks. I tell the bartender I want something strong and fruity and they come up with something. I've had a royal flush (Roadie and I both were sloshed that night :drinking1 :rotfl: ) sex on the beach, appletini, and something with rum and cranberry juice. What else should I try? I don't want to taste too much of the booze in it. I like it to sneak up on me :drinking:
omg heres one for the dr pepper fans

The Flaming Dr. Pepper is a flaming cocktail, invented at the Ptarmigan Club in Bryan, TX, that is said to taste like the soft drink Dr Pepper, although it does not contain any soda. It is usually made by filling a shot glass 3/4 full with Amaretto, and 1/4 Bacardi 151 (or Everclear) to make it flammable. (The two liquors are not mixed; rather, the high-proof alcohol is layered on top to burn more easily.) The shot is then set on fire and dropped into a glass half-filled with beer. The flaming shot is extinguished by the beer, which foams up and is then quickly consumed. A common variation is to use Amaretto and Kahlua.

I used to do Dr. Peppers all the time...I don't like Dr. Pepper, but I used to like to get wasted.

It's on the Ghost Whipserer tonight.

We did it a few times. We also did the "light as a feather, stiff as a board" game.

light as a feather stiff as a board? Never heard of that one.

Did any of you play the Bloody Mary game as a kid?

That game always scared the heck out of me as a kid. I still can't walk past a mirror in a dark room without getting goosebumps.

Hi teo!

I never played those drinking games...we just drank. :lmao:

You talking about my games? Not drinking games...Tween sleepover games.

Light as a feather was when you tried to pick up one of the girls with one finger after "hypnotizing" her.

We also used to freeze the bra (that my friends didn't really need, but I did) of the first girl to fall asleep.

Sorry! That's what you get for moving to VA.

Where's the new Costco? :yay:

Columbia at the corner of 108 and 175. There is a big new shopping center there. That's where the Trader Joe's is going to be too.
