OK, bored! What is everyone up to this weekend?
I will be spending the weekend getting the crap scared out of me. We are going to Halloscream at Busch Gardens. Everything makes me jump, so my kids will have fun scaring me:rolleyes:

I had a fun family afternoon planned since the kids were out of school early. We were going to go up to Great Wolf Lodge and play MagiQuest, but they decided they wanted to go to Walmart so DD11 could buy the Nintendo DS she has been saving up for. That turned into a 2 hour trip to study all the games, halloween costumes, CD's, and for DD7 to look at all the toys. Not the afternoon I intended, but they had fun and we spent time together as a family, so that is all that matters.
You're right. That's all that matters:thumbsup2

Rebecca is getting ready for her first car date, can we say shoot me again :scared:
Breathe:hug:
my head hurts.
again.

hmm I remember my first car date, :rolleyes1
you're not helping:rolleyes1 ( I remember mine too;) )

WTH I guess these are for when you keep spilling your jello shots.its in a handy splash proof container/injector.

I'm working both days. This will be my last chance to work a weekend before WDW. This OT will be on my last check before vacation!
Tonight I'm going down to work for a dinner. The supervisor of the area I supported on 2nd shift is having a catered BBQ chicken dinner. The lead of the area told him that I should be invited too and I was!

my first car date was to see Top Gun on July 4th and we went to the park to watch the fireworks. I dated this guy for years and he was always teh gentleman...and I dumped him for who Im with now......the date guy now lives in Hawaii in a condo overlooking the ocean. Dang Navy

So, I've officially been accepted to my local community college. Come January, I is a college student :yay:

A little tip from you old Aunt Angel, once you pick your drink by color? Time to do TEQUILLA!~:yay:

Tequilla and spiced rum do not so nice things to my stomach. Give me vodka, sloe gin, goldshlaager (probably spelled wrong), or most other "shooter" type drinks though and I'm gtg :)-

You sit with me at ESPN, :smooth:

Brain surgery AND dating in the same week :scared1: Aren't there laws against that? You should not have to be put through so much. So honestly, what is scarier, the brain procedure or the car date. As a mother, I have a feeling I know the answer. . .

Yes, we insisted on meeting him last night, she was cool in telling him, "hey, if this is happening, my parents need to meet you, not tomorrow, but tonight while they still have the option to say no way!"
He came over and was very respectfull, even said he and his mom were impressed!
And she just left, excuse me while I cry in the corner :sad1:

Nah, cry with us.

Mine too. One day. Just one headache free day. Is that too much to ask?

I left you alone! :teeth:

Better keep Angel's in the cup, I think she has seen enough syringes for the year ;)

Just stay here and keep your mind off things. And don't get in the car! :rotfl:

Kelly--good for you!! :yay: What are ya gonna study?

I need a couple of those Kool Aid looking drinks too.

I just informed my boys that I was not making dinner. :rotfl: You know, it's Friday. Don't I get a day off?

DD is on a retreat all weekend. I have to admit I am looking forward to some drama free time. I was really worried about her though. But as soon as we got to church she hooked up wiht another girl from her small group and they stuck close together. She's not real close to too many girls at church so that is why I was worried. Looks like she will be fine :thumbsup2

I don't know if I will be able to meet up this weekend,:sad1: we won't get there until tomorrow afternoon, and we will leave early Monday. I'm not taking any time off from work, I'm saving my time for November.:cool1:

(although I would LOVE to meet you, hmmm, I wonder if I can convince DH that it's a must for HIS sanity :scratchin )

And I'm going back to school for Human Resource Management.:thumbsup2

My 7yr old rat just came down and went into the pantry and asked me if she could have a piece of candy. I told her "No, you had a stomach ache at dinner and didn't eat much so candy is not a good idea." She said "Please!!!!" and I said "NO" in that tone that means end of discussion.

So she gets out of the pantry and starts to walk away to the dark and deserted front hall and I hear the distinct sound of a candy wrapper in her hand.

BUSTED!

I call her back in and she is obviously hiding it in her hand. I tell her to put the candy away in my angry voice and she goes in and PRETENDS to put it away, I can still see it in her hand out of the corner of my eye. :headache: "PUT IT AWAY NOW! and now you get to go bed immediately with no story." I give her credit for just accepting the punishment and not throwing a fit!!!

So at least one child is in bed now! I think I will go lie down and watch TV.
