Yeah that too! I had to finally clear out my FIL's packed out room. Lets say, there were some interesting science experiments in there. We ripped up the carpet, because that room is our dining room now, and we planned on using the real hardwood floors under there. Now we can't, we found that half the floor was molded. Had no idea, you couldn't even move in that room, so now we are battling mold. I had the contractor here last week to see if we could tear out the load bearing wall and what we would have to do. We finished a HUGE deck, and tore out the main bathroom to the studs, both of those just got finished. Now, we are still battling mold, because we decided not to contract out for the dining room, since its more or less ripping stuff out and replacing things, which we can do ourselves. Needless to say....I WANT TO PULL MY HAIR OUT, GET SMASHED AND GO TO BED.

Just a quick fly by before I run out and to all my errands. DD has declared me mean because she has to clean her room and it's "too messy". (it actually is overwhelmingly messy and I will probably help her after I prove a point).

Kids were up at 5:30...too dang early for as late as I was up last night....some strange people kept me up talking about nonsense like eating buffalos and alligators.

On the phone with my Mom right now. She found out today that there were no breast cancer cells in the fluid that was drained from her lung. This is good news because it means the breast cancer had not mestatisized, that it is a new primary cancer. If there had been breast cancer cells in it, it could have already gone all over the body. She is also going to have a needle biopsy on the 22nd. She might try and get that changed so that the oncologist has more info at her appt on the 19th.

Caro, good news about the breast cancer cells.

Morning! Still working on the living room. Got it emptyied out yesterday, scrubbed it down, replaced some pieces of messed up wall paper and got the padding down. Today we carpet and put it back together. It'll look good when we are done. I tell ya, when we finally get this house finished, it's gonna look brand new!

Caro- great news on your mom!!!

You people sure are quiet! I only had about 2 1/2 pages to read back from where I left last night.

Busy day. DD is helping DH clear out our Dining room/school room/ scrapbook room so he can paint! Lots of PMS remodeling going on this weekend.

Taking the kids to the swim meet at 12:30. We have about 80 kids on our team and they have 17. Should be interesting. Not really sure what the point is! Hopefully I can DIS from there, they have wireless, but not sure if I will be sitting by the pool or not. I have to go and fix a cooler of food because they aren't going to be selling any.

I went to sleep about 1:30 I think, tried to get that horrible book finished, but just couldn't make it....good thing, the end is bad of course. Warning to all, don't listen to Oprah, do NOT read The Road! Just amazingly horrible book. All my book club people were saying before I even started to read it, you will just want to kill yourself. Yeah, they were right, you really would feel the need to do this, if in that situation! Unbelieveable, very sad and the most depressing thing ever! Ok, off that subject.

So, at 4am, I hear MAMA! MAMA! I froad up! Again! Poor kid is on Amoxicillin and she is suffering from all the side effects. Her tummy hurts, she has the poopies and has thrown up a couples times. She can't be a good girl and throw up on the carpet, she has to throw up in HER HAIR at 4am! This of course requires a bath and change of bedding!

We did get back to sleep about an hour later though, but then again at 7, she had had an accident in her pants..which she never does, but this stuff is kicking her butt. It is not after 10 and she is still asleep.

Well, off to do nothing today! Where is everyone, out living their lives?

good morning Nutty!! Can someone tell mother nature that fall is supposed to be here. I am going to my best friends nephews benefit and there were to be sweatshirts and such sold. Its supposed to be in the mid 80s!
