Hey, that thread is fun! We need to do a Snarky answer thread every day! I elect Tig to be be in charge since she can't answer because her answers would get her banned. She has to think of situations that require snarky answers and post them for us to answer!


Someone plan the Nov trip for me. I haven't even bought park tickets yet. Has anyone got them yet that doesn't have AP's? I don't know how many days to buy. I am excited to go, I am just not motivated to get ready. Something about not having to get the entire family ready and bring all the extras means I am not stressing.

And I am NOT planning to go with the flow. Dr. and I discussed that the last visit and made some med changes so I don't have to do that anymore--or at least not every month!

I really am just planning to throw some clothes in a suitcase and show up. It is very strange for me though. I guess I should arrange for my scooter rental though. And I am not sure if I should buy my park ticket ahead of time or wait until we get there.

Ham shooters are when you have to eat or you'll pass out but don't have the time because the leftover ham you just fried is too darned hot and you have to leave the house RIGHT NOW or you'll be late for the meeting you're going to so you just cut up the ham and throw it in a cup and shoot a piece at a time in your mouth while you drive like a bat out of hell to get to your meeting on time.

Okay, so I spent about 3 hours this morning making phone calls and working on medical bills and paper work. Then lunch and an hour working on WPASADI stuff. The kids will be here in a few and then I get to fight with them over homework.

Tonight I get to go to my first pool board meeting as a Full Member of the board. I have been just filling in for people up to now. They have been trying to get me to take a full time position and the one I wanted finally came open last month. They were so happy to finally get me as a full member.

I HAVE NO IDEA WHY!!! (it's not like they have never met me! )

and they won't either after tonight!!

Why?

Because my brain is fried and I am ready for a fight! My first meeting as a full voting member is to work on changes and additions to the bylaws. They sent me a copy of the things they want to change and add and most are STUPID!!! They want to add clarification in paragraph g of something that was already made completely clear in paragraphs a-c. And their clarification makes it less clear!

They want to micromanage things to level that we might have to have our toenails inspected before we can use the pool.

They want to make by-laws about things that are legally beyond our scope. (they want to write in who gets the membership in case of divorce???? WTH?? )

We have a lawyer on the board, but he travels a lot. I hope to God he is there tonight or it could get ugly! But I am going to have FUN!!
