I want some bacon. I've stopped buying anything unhealthy, but I really want bacon - the real stuff, not that turkey bacon crap.

Every time someone talks about bacon that begging strips commercial runs through my head.......BACON!!!!!!! I smell BACON!!!!!!!! It's BACON!!!!!!!!!

my oldest had been sick over the weekend...worse yesterday morning . I made her go to school and then took her to dr after school. She has an ear infection and bronchitis so bad shes having to take a dosepak of steroids. I hate shes sick but so many times she has pulled on over on me so I told her to go to school then we would go to the dr. She is home today, shes running a fever .

That is the same thing he said...I told him if he did not have a fever he would have to go to school....

Good for you! You too, Tiff. They will always try to talk their way into using a sick day when they can, the little boogers. When DS was smaller, he'd try to stay home, and when I wouldn't let him, he'd go to the nurse and she'd make me come get him. He always got in trouble (BIG trouble), but he did it throughout elementary school.

I hope not, too! I wish I had put my foot down a little more with him back then and made him stay at school. I'll just take it as a lesson learned. The girls will never get by with it.

Ex Dh used to let her skip ALOT. She always did really well and told her school wans't that important before 4th grade!

He's let her take 'mental health' days in the 2nd grade!

So It has been hard for me to break that. She had a alot of absences last year becuase she had pink eye 4 times from Jan-April

I told her, you can't miss ANY days b/c the kids are mising 5 days for WDW, not to mention, she always gets sick in the winter.

CJ-- never asks to skip, bless his heart. I think he has missed 4 days since 1st grade, other than vacations.

Morning, everyone! I was dreaming about you all last night. We were at the Food and Wine festival in November, and I brought my camelback thing full of liquor. We took hits off it all day until we were so sloshed they threw us out.

That's not a dream, but an upcoming event!
