Tig, have you had an MRI on your spine yet? I have a bulging disk and a synovial cyst, so that is where my pain is coming from. Nothing can be done about either though!

From my symptoms he didn't think an MRI was in order. I don't think he expects to find anything in the x-rays--it's more to rule out things. I don't think the facets or SI joint problems show up in x-rays, but maybe I'm remembering wrong. If it's the facets it's a degenerative arthritis.

Morning...fell asleep while watching TV last night, sorry for disappearing.

At work (we need a puking smile) and have another (yes another) rotten day ahead. One of my employees gave notice yesterday, so I have to figure out how I plan to cover the situation. At least it was the one that I always had to have the "you suck" meetings with...so she finally realized that it wasn't a good fit.

HOLD ON YOUNG LADY! Did we approve this trip? Who are you going with? Why are you going? How much will this cost us? How do you plan to pay for your part of it? Will there be any chaperones? What exactly do you think you will be doing in the wild state of CT? Will there be drugs and alcohol present?

Hi from Ireland again

Took a quick glance back over a couple of pages, and it looks like lots of you guys are having hard times, and I'm so sorry, and here are a few of these to go around as needed:

Still having fun, although we had a stressful morning today. A big part of what we do here involves meetings with pastors who don't know anything about us, to tell them what we do - sort of to "sell" our ministry, I guess you could say. We were to meet a new one today that we tried to meet on our last trip. It didnt' work out then, because he had to cancel last minute to do a funeral, which of course we understood.

This morning we forgot some unaviodable business we had to take care of before we could meet him, so when we remembered, we had to call him and ask if we could push our meeting time back an hour. He agreed, but apparently he then called our boss here in Ireland to complain about us being flakes and continually cancelling on him (apparently he forgot it was him who cancelled the other time ), and how he had set aside his whole morning for us, and were we going to be a big waste of his time?

Our boss put in a good word for us, but called us to tell us about it, to warn us that we might be going into this meeting at a deficit, and to tell us to please be on time. We were early for the rescheduled time, and the guy seemed perfectly warm and friendly, and it seemed like the meeting went well, but it's hard to trust that after knowing that he called to tattle on us like that. Whatever.

Anyway, the day got better from there, and overall we're having a successful and enjoyable trip. I'm having tea at an internet cafe right now, and hubby is asleep sitting up across from me.
