You all have been so helpful in helping me choose table services.
I make ADRs on Monday and a little stressed :)

On our Hollywood Studios day, I am not crazy about any of the TS restaurants. We did Sci Fi last time and it was neat but don't need to do it again.

So, which restaurant would you recommend? It can be at one of the resorts but not at a park, we don't have hoppers.

So far I already have Ohana, and 1900 Park Fare planned.

I am looking for something a lil more relaxed. Is Sanaa too much of a hassle to do on a HS day?

Any other recommendations? We will have three kids 8, 6, 17months so need something that appeals to those ages :)

Thank you!!!

Are you looking for lumch or dinner? 50s Prime Time in HS is blast for all ages. If you're looking to dine at one of the resorts for dinner Cape May is a good buffet (only open at dinner). Beaches and Cream at the Beach Club also no reservations but could be crowded. Great burgers.

Thanks! I wondered about 50's PT. We are looking for dinner so we can just go back to our hotel afterwards.

I also recommend 50's PTC. It is one of our favorite TS restaurants in DHS, along side Mama Melrose. 50's is so fun for the kids and adults and they have really good food (I love the fried chicken and for dessert the S'mores). If you wanted to go out of the park for a dinner, try going over to one of the restaurants at the Boardwalk or Yacht/Beach Club. It is a nice boat ride away from DHS, not too much of a hassle. Good luck.

No ? if your going to be in DHS then Prime Time. A muct do every trip :thumbsup2

I would go to the Wave at the CR, GFC at the GF, Cape May Clambake at the BC or Capts Grill at the YC

I would suggest 50 PT as well. We have eaten there every trip and every time the food is fabulous, the atmosphere is great and the service is so funny.

Ok , I just looked up reviews of 50's PTC and most said the food was good, however, I have seen a few people note that the servers tried to "feed" them their vegetables??? Dh would have a heart attack if somebody did that to him!!:lmao:

Do they do that???

Hahaa it's just the funny antics at 50's. :rotfl: if your DH eats all his veggies, then there won't be a problem! Definitely recommend this place! :) Also, you could head over to the Cape May Clambake at the Beach Club or Captain's Grille at the Yacht Club if you decide against 50's.

In our experience, yes and no. They did it to DH on our honeymoon but we were giving Uncle Sam a hard time and playing right along with him. He was a great server and we actually had him again the next year. But last year, DD6 wanted no part of their antics and gave Cousin whatever her name was the look of death when she took her plate...as if to tell her you best not try to feed me that or turn my leftovers into a sundae. The server caught on quick and let it be. We noticed most places with antics and characters were really good about catching on to who was not into it.

But if you don't want to eat there, Cape May Clambake at the BC gets good reviews (although we hit it on a bad night).

My DD9 loves 50's Prime Time...she still talks about Aunt Memory (our server)

For our first night though, we are going to be eating dinner at Narcoosees which is located at the GF. We try to time it just right (ressies around 7:15/7:30pm) so that DD9 can see the Electric Water Parade go by...it never fails to work out.

Narcoosees always seems to be a "goto" restaurant for us on every trip.

Sanaa is much less of a hassle on an AK day if you have to rely on the bus system, but if you have a car, it's no worse than any other restaurant, and better than most in terms of parking (although there's always valet...).

I would agree with PoohsFan1 who suggested something in the Boardwalk area. Flying Fish and Yachtsman Steakhouse are both signature restaurants, and very good. With the kids' ages you mentioned, though, I might downshift to Beaches and Cream, and then turn them loose on a Kitchen Sink sundae after dinner. Then you could retire as "Best Parent Ever". :thumbsup2

You could then head back to DHS to get a bus back to your resort, if you are using Disney transportation. Getting back directly from the Boardwalk would be a hassle, as you'd have to go through DTD or to the MK lot, I believe, to catch a resort bus.

Captain's Grille would be a good option in my eyes; they take ADRs, have a diverse menu, and is a lesser known gem...at least to DW and I. Close by DHS too.

Cape May has always looked good to me but we've never been. Beaches and Cream is really yummy, but has a pretty limited menu. They don't take reservations either, tmk.

I say 50s prime time as well, also two of my favs are Kona cafe @poly(your kids would love the kona kone-look up a pic!) and Boma @ AKL (great variety and awesome desserts- and I HATE buffets!).

We've had excellent luck with THE WAVE. Always great service and the food is very good as well.:thumbsup2
