The more I think about this the less I'm convinced I'm right ...

Daylight Savings Time starts in Florida on 3rd March. British Summer Time starts on 27th March. We fly out on 20th March so I think instead of the normal 5 hour time difference it will be 6 hours. That means that our flight (11:15 departure) will arrive at 2:15 local time rather than the normal 3:15.

Is my logic correct or do I have this completely round my neck ?

I think your logic is fine, but not sure that it necessarily follows that your calculations are correct! ;) But then again, I could be wrong.....

Yes, there will be two weeks (3rd - 27th March) when the time difference will be 6 hours instead of 5. But if the airline has given you local flight times, won't they have taken the daylight saving into account?

Whatever time you actually arrive in Florida, I can gaurantee it won't be soon enough

Daylight Savings Time begins in Florida on 3 April 2005 (the first Sunday of April). Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) = GMT-4
