Please clarify CP application :)

I'm a little confused. Do you do an online application or do you send in by snail-mail an application with resume and letters of recommendation?
If you apply online, what about your resume and letters of recommendation?

i want to make sure DS has everything lined up......like reference info and recommendations so he's not scrambling during the online application to find info he will need.

I have never heard of sending in a resume or letters of recommendation for the CP. I believe that they ask everything they need to know on the online application.

Do the online application. I don't think there is a snail-mail option, just applications at Campus Presentations. I did mine online and they don't request letters or resumes, just references. I got all my previous work info and reference names and numbers ready before applying just to make it go faster. Then you'll complete a web-interview, more of a quiz, and they'll tell you whether or not you qualify. If you do, they give you the number to call to set up a phone interview. Good luck! )

Do they contact all of your references or do they simply want all of that info for proof that you worked where you say you did?

I think it's proof that you worked there.

I really doubt they contact anyone unless they're on the fence about you. I heard they get 4,000 applicants each semester or something like that, so I can't imagine they're able to contact references for everyone. They probably just want to see them. Megan, what role are you? I see we both start the 23rd .

I think there's only one location for BBB, which is inside the World of Disney store, unless there's some other location I don't know about.

There is also one inside Cinderella's Castle at Magic Kingdom, which most CP's are placed in I think.

Regarding References....do they just want employer/supervisor contact info and/or personal references....and what kind of reference info exactly?

They want employer info and personal references. I think they ask for everything you mentioned, except for email addresses.

It was more like dates you worked there, why you left and who you worked for. People already know where they're working? When did you find that out? I finished my web interview but when I went to call to schedule my phone one the recording told me that it was after hours so I'm going to call tomorrow.

I think these two are going down for Fall 2010- not Spring.

There are two in WDW: Cinderella's Castle @ MK and inside World of Disney @ DTD. I'm new at BBB too, but I'm at the World of Disney one. I have a roommate at the Magic Kingdom one.

You won't know your role until you're accepted. You can only request certain ones. Your interview isn't right away either. I had to wait like two weeks cause I applied at a busy time. My interview was at 9pm! Just write all your thoughts down like I said and smile. If you prove you're good for your number one choice, you will probably be accepted quicker. Everyone told me it would be a month til I found it, but it was only a week

Another question....does DS need to put his acting experience on the application if he wants to audition for Character role, ...OR just put his job experience???? His second choice is character attendant...his job experience is perfect for char attend.

Hopefully today or tomorrow he said he can get the application done.....

He's still trying to get the appl in...he had to clarify some requirments with his school and had work...so hopefully soon....!
