Coronado Springs is gorgous!!

Cant wait to read more. :sunny:

I will be getting more of it written this weekend as well as lots more pics (also look for some added pics in some of the earlier installments :thumbsup2 )

Wow, I wish my sister would call with an offer like that!!

Great report, I'm looking forward to more :)

Hi sis!!

Great so far. I've got my pre-TR started in a word document (mostly for the scrapbooking thing, and maybe my blog). Since you're covering it here, not sure I need to post it (unless we do a she-said/she-said thing, you can copy/paste my input in with the same days).

Yep, I got the basket from Peggy (fellow DISer, found out about her from the board here). And I learned of baggalini here. I knew about crocs from my DH (he teaches college and a student who worked for a croc distributor game him a pair last semester, he lived in them all summer). Though I didn't think about them as WDW shoes until threads here. Now I practically live in them too (wearing black beach crocs today at work - my feet are hidden under my desk most of the day anyway, and it is so hard to go back to uncomfortable shoes :smokin: )

Cass ~ I will keep my fingers crossed that you get a similar phone call one day :thumbsup2

ssleblanc ~ Hi DSIS, I myself am wearing my mary janes today to work. Much more comfortable than any other black shoe I have. Would prefer to wear my beach but they don't go with my outfit :rotfl: If you would like just email me your input and I will add it to my trip report. I think that would be a great idea. Make a much better report than I already have. :thumbsup2

Our first stop was Downtown Disney to find costumes for the boys. Unfortunately we were not able to find anything that was not too hot to wear in the weather we were having. So we ended up getting them Pirates of the Caribbean t shirts and pirate hats and swords.

After shopping we had lunch at the Rainforest Café. The boys loved it. pooh: even kept track of the time so that he would know when the next storm would happen. Sis and I shared an appetizer of the crab dip and boy was that good. Then she had a chicken wrap and I had a burger while the boys ate pizza. For dessert we all shared the volcano and let me tell you it is huge. They say it is for two people but four can easily share it and still not be able to eat it all.

After Downtown Disney we went back to the resort and got ready for MNSSHP. I had borrowed DH’s renaissance costume and had made a red sash to wear with it, DSIS wore a black and white t shirt, black pants and a red sash she had bought and the boys were in the outfits we had just gotten. We made it to the party right about 7pm and headed straight for Tomorrow Land. Our first objective being to ride Buzz Lightyear. This turned out to be one of the boys favorite rides. I think we rode it atleast 5 times over a two day period. We also rode Stitches Escape. The boys didn’t like this one too much. pooh: said he didn’t like Stitch burping on his necklace and :stitch2: didn’t like Stitch spitting on him. One ride they did like and wanted to do over and over was the Transit Authority ride. Unfortunately we were never able to get the boys to go on Space Mountain so DSIS and I took turns riding that one.

Our next stop was to Mickeys Toon Town. There we were able to get the boys to ride Goofy’s Barn Stormer. :stitch2: loved it and pooh: kept his face hidden in his hat the entire time. By this time we had done a good bit of trick or treating so our bags were about half full. Trying to keep the candy in the bags while riding a roller coaster was an interesting experience. We also took the time to go get photos and autographs from Mickey while in Toon Town. While waiting for our turn we found some hidden Mickey’s. This became a fun game for the boys. pooh: who is a good reader kept asking for the Hidden Mickey book I had with me and kept track of where to find them. Funny thing though is that :stitch2: and I found more by ourselves than pooh: did with the book. I guess we were just lucky to end up in the right places when it was just the two of us.

After Toon Town we headed for the Haunted Mansion. The boys had been asking us to go on it ever since we got to the Magic Kingdom. Here pooh: rode with me and :stitch2: rode with DSIS. Again pooh: kept his face hidden for most of the ride though I was able to get him to look up a few times. :stitch2: thought it was funny when a hitchhiking ghost sat on his lap. Neither would go back on it though.

After the Haunted Mansion we headed for Main Street to catch the second parade and there I met up with some Dissers.
I met CrazyforDisney and her family

and also sunny_, and her family

CrazyforDisney was so sweet to let my nephews have room to see the parade by her. I got lots of pictures at the parade including Captain Jack Sparrow who when he realized I was taking his picture posed for me. Unfortunately his float had gone too far and I couldn’t get a good picture of him posing around the tree I was standing next to.

After the parade we went to see about getting a CM to take our picture in front of the Castle. Once that was done we decided to call it a night and headed back to CSR.

Next Up : A Full Day At MK

Awesome TR! Love the pictures!!!! keep it coming!

Before we went to bed after MNSSHP we set the alarm and the phone for a wake up call at 7am. The next morning DSIS and I both were awake before the alarm went off so we took a bit of time to decorate the room a bit with the window clings we had and the MHPC garland I had made. I also took the time to dress my two bears and my bunny (Build A Bear ones that is) up in their Disney outfits. Since the chance of getting a Mousekeeper that can do towel animals is slim I brought the animals along hoping that the Mousekeepers would get creative with them.

Right before 7 we started the process of waking the boys in hopes that they would hear the wake up call. Unfortunately we didn’t have much luck so we let it go and 10 minutes later the call came again (yes they do have snooze on it, simply don’t answer the phone the first time and it will recall again in 10 minutes). By then we had gotten the boys somewhat awake and I hit the speaker phone so we could all hear it. The boys didn’t seem to realize what it was that day.

Once the boys were fully awake we got them to try to see what changes had been made to the room. They started looking around and sure enough they attributed it all to Mickey. Next step was to get dressed. DSIS handed each of them the ziplock bag with their clothes for the day. Once we were all dressed we headed to the bus stop with a quick stop at the fountain in the courtyard of our building.

Once at the bus stop we found another hidden Mickey.

HiddenMickeySaturdayam.jpg

We didn’t have long to wait before the Magic Kingdom bus pulled up and we were on our way. We missed the rope drop but were still there fairly early. After getting to Main Street USA we spotted a couple of characters.

DonaldandGoofyspottingSaturdayam.jpg

We then went to the central hub where Walt’s statue is and had our picture taken

FamilyportraitMK.jpg

Our first area we headed to was Adventure Land to ride Pirates and the Jungle Cruise.

Our first stop was the Swiss Family Tree House.
SwissFamilytreehouse.jpg

This is something I had never been on before as both of my previous visits to WDW it was closed for refurbishment. After the tree house we headed straight to the Jungle Cruise and got some fast passes. Then it was on to Pirates of the Caribbean.

PiratesofCaribbean.jpg

The boys even though they have seen the movies found this ride a bit scary for them but they did like seeing Jack Sparrow added to the ride. As we got back outside who should we see but Peter Pan and Wendy then we saw Captain Hook and Smee. The boys didn’t get to meet Peter Pan and Wendy as they were leaving to take their break but they did get to meet the Captain and Smee. When we got in line though :stitch2: decided Captain Hook was too scary looking for him and he refused to meet him. So it was just pooh: and me that went up to the Captain.

While we with the Captain we got to see Peter Pan being chased by a CM because he had stolen one of Captain Hook’s hooks.

By the time we were done with the character meet it was time for our fast passes to be good so we headed for the Jungle Cruise. Our tour guide was pretty good. He told all the right jokes and in the right manner without making a total fool of himself (unlike some TG’s I have heard about).

Thanks for subscribing. As for the boys it all depends on what kind of mood they are in. Trust me they can be very mischievious when they are in the mood to be :rotfl2: :lmao:

HAAHAAHAAHAAHAA :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Sorry, just had to comment on that one. I about choked on my diet Dr. Pepper.

(Seriously though, they CAN be very good, and CAN be very bad. Speaking as their mom, I can honestly say that. Really, they are both super smart and that can get them into a LOT of trouble - often thinking they know everything and therefore don't have to listen).

Great trip report! I'm already ready to go back to the World!! The picture you took of us turned out great!! :thumbsup2

Hi sunny_, glad you like the picture. When do you think you will be going next. Dh and I are going for our anniversary in 15 days :woohoo: .

From the Jungle Cruise we went to Pecos Bill’s Café for lunch. The food even though it was counter service was pretty good. I had gotten a cheese burger and did not find it dry like I thought I would. DSIS got a barbeque sandwich which she said was good.

After lunch we had till 6pm for our dinner reservations at Liberty Tree Tavern so we headed towards Tomorrow Land to ride Buzz Lightyear again. We also rode the Transit Authority again as well as went on the Carousel of Progress. While in TL we saw Buzz and Stitch and the boys and I were able to get their autographs.

Stitch got a kick out of the fact that the pen I was using for my book matched the shirt I was wearing.

At sometime during the afternoon the boys and I all got trading pin lanyards. I got Tinkerbelle, :pooh got Mickey, and :stitch2: got Buzz Lightyear. I also purchased some additional pins of Tinkerbelle.

After Tomorrow Land we headed over to Fantasy Land went to Philharmagic and then It’s A Small World. Both of the boys found it a bit boring which I have to agree with as it is not my favorite ride. By this time the boys were getting tired so we decided to do something relaxing and time consuming. We took the boys to the Monorail and rode to EPCOT and back. After the monorail we still had about 30 minutes to kill so we rode the train around the park twice then on the third go around we got off at Frontier Land and headed to the Liberty Tree Tavern.

We didn’t have to wait too long for our table. We had a very nice waitress who got the chef out to our table to discuss with me about my food allergies. It turned out there were only 2 things I should stay away from so I was able to enjoy the majority of our Thanksgiving style dinner. I really enjoyed the roast and the turkey :pooh really liked the ham, :stitch2: liked the roast and DSIS liked it all.

It wasn’t long before we started seeing characters. As a matter of fact Goofy came to our table shortly after we were seated. For some reason he decided I was the one to be picked on that night. He started to play with my hair and when we took pictures with him he made a point of picking on me even then.

189368359.jpg

When he signed our autograph books he took all 3 of the Sharpie markers we had after signing mine and pooh: book and wrote in :stitch2: with all 3 at once. It really looked neat.

We also saw Chip and Dale, Pluto and Minnie Mouse.

WithMinnieSaturday.jpg

After dinner we headed back over to Tomorrow Land to ride Buzz yet again. We must have ridden that one at least 6 times before we quit going to the MK during our stay.

It wasn’t long though before we all decided we were tired and headed back to the resort.
