Plan Ahead with Lightning Lane Entry at Walt Disney World Starting July 24

But with Genie+, you did not have three attractions already reserved by the time you arrived :).
I get what you're saying, but the availability is just not there to book another ride with a reasonable return time. Especially Tier one, many are gone for day by 10:30 am. The return times are so far out or gone for the day. It seems Disney wants us to wait in more stand by lines. The stand by times do not seem any shorter than yesterday.
The tier 2 rides that show booking window for later in the day used to be ones that were available within minutes or the hour with Genie.
Still feel like you could get more rides booked in a day with Genie+, if you knew how to use it. But it's gone - so need to learn a new one!

We don't have to be in the parks for this answer. Disney already covered this use case.

On the day of your park visit, once you redeem a Lightning Lane Multi Pass selection (or once the arrival window has passed), you can use the My Disney Experience app to check availability for another Lightning Lane Multi Pass experience—and add to your plans.

You can make one at a time until regular park closing (subject to availability). If your park admission includes Park Hopper benefits, you can even choose a Lightning Lane Multi Pass experience in a different theme park.

Right, I have that part covered. My question was about whether or not you can make a reservation in any park in ANY tier after you scan into your first reservation. So let's say my first reservation is a Tier Two attraction. When I scan in to that, can I make a Tier One reservation? I don't believe that Disney confirmed that in any info I've read or training I've done.

Yes. Tiers are only for the first 3 pre-selections. After you use the first one (or it expires), you can book any tier, any park (with a hopper).

By 11:15 all the tier 1 rides are now gone at MK. I refreshed and a few popped up, but no set times. I am guessing that the hour marks aka 10,11, are going to be when most can book and many LL will be gone

That's for sure happening in practice? I'm hearing conflicting reports.
Yes it is for sure. Please let us know what you are hearing that is different.

Disney has posted your use case. And multiple other DIS members have tried to simplify the Disney speak. What do you need a live stream from the LL queue?

When purchasing LLSP rides, is it easy to book for just a portion of your group? We want to buy LLMP for everyone, but LLSP rides for only some of the group. This was no problem with Genie+, but I just wondered about the new system. Thanks!

Still tech issues there? Haven't been monitoring that one.
Well it had been on an improving swing but it fell off the cliff on July 21st. It had to close for the day at 4:30 for the day. It had less than 60 BG that day when the low daily BG was hitting in the 80s for a while.

Thrill-Data is still updating LL Availability today.
After checking a handful of attractions it looks like Disney is still adding LLs availabilty at the the same times throughout the day.

The tier 2 attractions are definitely selling out faster, but availabilty is there.
It will be interesting to see the pattern for the Tier 2 LLs and when Disney resupplies.
My guess is that Disney is being a bit more cautious today since it is only day one.

If you break them up into 2 purchases, 1 Group for LLMP and 1 group for LLSP it would be very easy.

I don't think Tiana's ride compares technology wise to GOTG, Tron, or FOP.
FOP doesn't use a VQ and routinely has long wait times in standby. I would align TBA access like FOP.

Are you able to make a selection for a later time and then edit that selection by refreshing for an earlier time slot? That was a big thing with the old systems. You could just take what was available timewise and then edit your selection and quickly refresh to try and get an earlier time.

Just checked MK Tiana is showing available Did they drop more? Hope this is the case and they do that periodically for all rides No other Tier 1’s available though

I'm seeing it as back open, too! That feels promising that they'll continue to drop!

I'm not there with first-hand knowledge, but several groups have reported that's the case. So my info is second-hand, but seems to be confirmed.
Thank you!! Looks like maybe the issue was that the person trying to book a Tier One attraction was seeing it as unavailable because it was actually unavailable (go figure), not because they weren't able to book Tier One attractions in general. Appreciate it!
