Maybe that was part of the Pixar Cruise theming: Mine! mine! mine! mine! mine!

If so, Welcome Back! Any whale sightings? Did anybody take the Muir Woods tour?
no whale sightings that I heard if, but my father in law saw dolphins a couple of times. And there are sea lions on the SF and Ensenada piers.Anybody back from the 2nd Pixar cruise yet?

Just off this morning! I did see some whale tails and water spouts off in the distance while at brunch on Thur. Later that evening, I chatted with our neighbors in the cabin next door and they said that there were some whales right alongside the ship that they saw from their balcony! Dd and I were in our room around that time too. So bummed we missed it!
Who did you guys have for your Pixar presenters? Was it a couple presentations and an autograph session?

We also went on the Shopping tour of Ensenada. Many complained about the smell, but we were whisked into one of many buses right off the ship, so I guess I was more focused on getting on the right bus. The tour went to an old winery that they actually just put the labels on the bottles at now. They had a nice little tasting, and there was some interesting artwork. We drove past the local college, and then toured their conference center that used to be a casino. We were then taken to downtown where they told us to stay within an 8 block area as these were the only stores that accepted dollars instead of Pesos. I was disappointed that we only were allowed one hour here. We had a beer and nachos and we could not get the server to bring a bill or tell us what we owed. I guess they were hoping we drank more. We had to rush back to the bus, and did not get any time to look in the shops.
Great to be back home in sunny warm AZ! Now researching Vacation Club!
My dad did the golf excursion and it was a nightmare. There half hour drive back from the course took over two hours and we were about an hour late leaving waiting for them.
So is it me or is this just like Saturday (ie, no class)?

Yeah, we could've swiped our 3D menus but I thought that would be so tacky.
It was more movement then we've felt in the past, we were rolling back and forth in bed and I did hit a few hallway walls on the way back to our room. We're in the back, so maybe we were feeling it more but on our excursion everyone thought it was a lot.

We just got back last night. Cruise was AMAZING. Our least favorite part was the port adventures in Ensenada. We did the shopping trip and I just thought it was pretty awful. Civic center was pretty, winery was just a room with disorganized tasting and then the shopping was an hour long and very rushed an not to exciting at all. For the length of the trip there should have been enough time to eat lunch. My kids were bored out of their minds - at the winery they did not even have water or anything for the kids. I guess I feel since we paid for them to go they should have at least had some sort of drink for them for the time we were there. My dad did the golf excursion and it was a nightmare. There half hour drive back from the course took over two hours and we were about an hour late leaving waiting for them. A disney worker did not go with them and they were in a van with a man who barely spoke english. The golf course over charged them for club rentals even though they quoted it at one price which was the same price that disney said it would be - it ended up being $20 more.
.
Too bad about the excursions. We did it on our own but did not have our son with us. We just went into town for a little bit of adult beverages at Hussongs and then to the fish market for fresh fish tacos... This was definitely not a spot on the approved tour area - but we had been there before years ago with a "local".
It was a fabulous cruise - I have never been so relaxed on a cruise. Even with us taking our time doing things we still had time to kill! Even on the last morning... we were waiting for breakfast and loitering before leaving and our dining room was still pretty busy.

Classless. I wonder if they have plates from Palo that will be showing up soon.
Wow, what some people will do for a buck.
We were definitely rolling. It was like sleeping in a automatic hammock. I thought one time I was going to roll out of the bed. We were midship.
If I sit real still ..... I can feel myself swaying.........I want to go again!
